Any Mechanical properties for this? Modulus, Tensile, Flexural Strength? Also, is it unidirectional, bidirectional? Volume fraction of the fiber?

Just wondering has anyone tried one of these to replace the spar tube in the 1400mm MX2? Would it be strong enough? Thanks

It's not woven carbon fibre but I've been successfully using it on my 55" Votec instead of the supplied aluminium wing spar.

My order is pending since early october. It was suppose be back in stock mid november, then it changed for early dec and now mid late december... A real joke :(

I ask cust service to order some 12mm CF tubing and what do you know they actually did it......
Anyway I bought a few sticks to make booms for 450 heli and they worked out good. They do not have a CF weave pattern however. Just a flat black tube. Very sturdy and should hold up well. I did crack one when cutting, so go slow.

The 10mm tube fits in this one. Wall thickness only 1.0mm. Light weight 39g

It was a very good pipe, but there was not it with the carbon design. I am slightly disappointed. However, it was a very strong pipe

Very good substitute for trex 450 tail boom. one tube can cut into two tail boom. as other mentioned it does not have carbon fiber pattern but ugly solid black. Inner does not have any coating.
It is very stiff, way better than those low quality bling bling tail boom purchased else where that are too flex.
