Hello all. I have purchased a rtf 450 plus that came with a T6 align futaba tx. Does anyone know of a battery pack (lipo) that can fit into the tx ? I hate replacing AA batteries and supporting DURACELL . The measurements are. 95mm long 45mm wide. 15mm deep. Some photos of the rear . target=_blank> target=_blank> target=_blank>

Can you use this for a QuadCopter?
 TaterTotDW 200 points
If the quadcopter is fitted with a FASST compatible receiver then it will work fine.

can i use this radio with the ezuhf? i have heard that the trainer port output of all other radios sucks?

can i do this project "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnNHMw9QrVY" using this tx or hitech aurora 9 ? i need to control 4-5servos and 4 dc motors independently & simultaneously !!! plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz do help urgent !
 James 347 points
Sounds like you'll need 9CH Tx/Rx. With this Tx its only 7CH so you can only use 4 servos with 3 motors. 4 DC motors? It appears like a 4WD... why dont you have the normal set up with movement of the wheels... which is 1 steering servo and 1 throttle with reverse... therefore you would require 2 CH for vehicle movement.

am doing a project on "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnNHMw9QrVY" in this you need to control 4 dc motors and 4 servo motors independently ! at times we use them together so can i use a 9-10channel transmitter to control 8 motors independently ? i am doing it for my college project so please reply assp !! URGENT !

can you use this tx/rx to control a rc car ?
 James 347 points
Yes you could, as you only need 2 channels to control the throttle and steering... I think this TX/RX is overkill for RC car purposes... LOL
Juliano  1 points - 1/2/2013

What is the difference between model 1 and model 2??? Thanks.
 James 347 points
The left and right sticks are reversed, so for example, throttle is on the left stick for mode 1 and throttle is on right stick for mode 2... RC enthusiasts have different preferences when using their RC...
 Kapturer 10 points
Just the reverse: Mode 1 = throttle on RH stick Mode 2 = throttle on LH stick None is better than the other, it's a matter of preference.

This radio is only for HELI?
 Sensi 104 points
you can use this with heli and air. Two things that are different with a heli radio is 1.there is no ratcheting effect on your throttle stick, its smooth 2.some of the top switches are placed the way a heli person would want them. I have a cap9 futaba heli radio and I use it on my planes and helis.
 Miroslav 16 points
Are you (HobbyCity) going to sell this radio for air too?

Fantastic radio!!! NEVER had a drop out, very fast and solid. Easy menus to use and setup your aircraft. Great features and easy to pair other receivers to it!!! Just push a button on the FAAST receiver and you're done. 5 stars easy!!!
