If you're looking for the female connector try: Female 4mm Banana Electrical Jack Pair PRODUCT ID: 4MM-CHR. You're welcome.

got these today... they are only the MALE ends ... I expected, when it says "PAIR" that it would include a male and a female end.. this is worthless.. glad I waited so long for it to get to me from Hong Kong.. (SARCASM)
 pilpul 15 points
It was clear for me. the pic is clear and also it says plugs. I wish they would sell the male ones too.
kiwi.jet  5 points - 1/8/2013

These plugs are rubbish. You have to solder the wires in and then epoxy the sleeves on. Why did Hobby King drop the gold Banana pluge they were carrying before these?? They were excellent

What size wire will the cup accept? I plan on soldering the wires in. Planning on 12 AWG.
 Nikolas 11 points
It will accept 12 awg

Alles Banane!!!

Is possible to solder wires in them or is it needed to fit them only by screw?
 Jean-Mi 27 points
Screw is needed to maintain the plastic cover, but you can solder the wire and glue the cover over that. That's possible.
 Dr.LuckyLuke 317 points
Cable soldering is not so easy as for gold connectors for example. It is better to solder ends of wires and use screw to fasten them in this plug.

yes it is remove the sleeve use a turbo flame lighter to fill the pot with solder (and a pair of pliers) pre solder the wire then use the lighter again to join the two and replace the sleeve when cool

Always solder your wires, just use a high wattage solder iron, if you don't get it hot enough the solder will not stick properly. I found one on this web site that would work it is a soldering Iron 230V 80W w/ Spare Tip PRODUCT ID: SI-001 for 3.40. hold the solder iron tip on the side of the plug where the wire goes in and put the solder right in the hole and when the solder melts fill it up about 7/8th,s the way in the hole , put the wire in and hole while it melts into the wire, remove the hea
 Jeff-C 63 points
You can do anything. If you solder them, make sure you heat the metal on the plug and melt the solder to that rather then melting the solder on the iron. Makes a good connection.
 joeham 8 points
You can solder the wires in them, but then the screw will (most likely) not fit in any more. It is needed to keep the plastic cover.

Does in HK exist female plugs?
 I<3LBFM 87 points
I plug females in Hong Kong all the time, there are plenty and some of them are smoking hot!!!
 fury95 71 points

 Liquid_Ice 19 points
Female banana plugs? I haven't seen any no.
 JBoyd 26 points
These are used to plug into a charger, I don't believe that HK carries a female version of the banana plug
 wwwest 10 points
Personally I have not found them.
 Brian 7 points
Only Male banana plugs at HobbyKing. Try Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics in the States

what is the maximum amp supported by these plugs? Thanks
 VILMANT 7 points
I don't know, sorry
 Nobby 113 points
Not sure of Max amps but I have put 8 amps through them for 6 hours and tey didn't get even warm...hope this helps.
 azzbean 24 points
10amps is nominal but you could exceed it
 nko16 37 points
Even 50 amps should be a problem since they have the same connection pattern as normal 4mm bullets..
 nko16 37 points
Even 50 amps should not be a problem since they have the same connection pattern as normal 4mm bullets..
 pedroknd 11 points
thank you all
 robocomp 16 points
these are very nice plugs, will take maybe 8awg wire. they will take 100 amps for a while... I buy these for DC lab supplies and work awesome
 Josh 12 points
Not much unfortunately - about the same as Tamiya plugs...
 wwwest 10 points
Great plugs, 100 amps is NOT a problem. They are used as the Orion standard, which is used in races.
Miles-away  510 points - 2/12/2010

These are out of stock for month now...
Any idea when they will come back?
 Miles-away 510 points
lol, yesterday i wrote that these aren't stocked for month... some hours later: in stock^^
Buggman  101 points - 9/12/2009

Yes these are 4mm,
Also I would say 12 gauge would be the biggest in my mind, any bigger I don't think I could make it fit.

But these are pretty nice and I'm very happy with them.
 xxgg2 26 points
Yes, these are same as 4mm bullet connector (male).

I just made my own charing wire with 10awg wire.
night_flight  181 points - 8/15/2009

What is the maximum gauge wire that can be inserted?
hornta  36 points - 8/14/2009

Are they 4mm?
Per.
 cardude 93 points
since Banana plugs like these for chargers and charging wires, are 4mm by defenition, i would bet these are also 4mm.
probably for chargers, and other charging stuff.
 Rokan 13 points
Yes they are 4mm.
 d_toolman 27 points
Yes they are 4mm
