These plugs are rubbish. You have to solder the wires in and then epoxy the sleeves on. Why did Hobby King drop the gold Banana pluge they were carrying before these?? They were excellent
yes it is remove the sleeve use a turbo flame lighter to fill the pot with solder (and a pair of pliers) pre solder the wire then use the lighter again to join the two and replace the sleeve when cool
Always solder your wires, just use a high wattage solder iron, if you don't get it hot enough the solder will not stick properly. I found one on this web site that would work it is a soldering Iron 230V 80W w/ Spare Tip PRODUCT ID: SI-001 for 3.40. hold the solder iron tip on the side of the plug where the wire goes in and put the solder right in the hole and when the solder melts fill it up about 7/8th,s the way in the hole , put the wire in and hole while it melts into the wire, remove the hea
You can do anything. If you solder them, make sure you heat the metal on the plug and melt the solder to that rather then melting the solder on the iron. Makes a good connection.
since Banana plugs like these for chargers and charging wires, are 4mm by defenition, i would bet these are also 4mm. probably for chargers, and other charging stuff.
