is it possible to use this servo for 1/10 rc car?
 psycheheli 51 points
Yes, it is possible to use this servo for 1/10 RC car. I am using in a 1/10 buggy (axial exo terra) and it has decent performance for a budget servo.
rippen  13 points - 2/22/2013

should I run these servos on 5 or 6 volt ?
 The Bear 103 points
I run them on 6 Volts and had faultless performance. Some have had gittering at 4.8 Volts.
 rippen 13 points
Thanks bear. I have a switch on my ubec for 5 or 6 volt i will give it a go driving 5 of these
 The Bear 103 points
In that case set the switch to 6 Volts and you shouldn't have any problems. I run these servos on 26cc petrol powered aircraft and had over 25 hours of trouble free operation.

Anyone knows if I can hook this up directly to a Naza ?! If so, what frequency ..?!

What is jitter sometime?? should I put a 6.0v battery in the receiver??thank you.
 am3388 20 points
Jitter is kind of vibration due to servo trying to find his neutral position. It is experienced sometime when the receiver is powered with 4.8v and never hapen when powered with 6.0v

Hello everyone, about these servants I had a problem, I have connected to my radio which is a Turnigy 9x, and give me problems, that make the game a bit as if there were interference, try them with another radio and all well, then I tried my radio (Turnigy 9x) with other servants and everything goes perfectly, you know what can I do?? Hello and thank you.
 am3388 20 points
What voltage are you using. I heard that they somtime jitter when powered at 4.8v and are OPK at 6.0V
 julian 5 points
i second that

 The Bear 103 points
Yes they can, I just tried it, no problem.

Do you think guys that the servo can handle a little more voltage than 6.0? Is it worth it? idea is to gain more speed.
 Lester Eduardo 9 points
that probably not a good idea, you will overload the servo and will burn after a wile... cheers
 The Bear 103 points
It may for a short time but the gain would not gain much so I wouldn't.
 bluexaero 1 points
Thanks for the advice.

Will this suit the new Hobbyking pattern plane?
tbone127  1 points - 1/21/2013

will they fit on HK500GT??
 Schorch 146 points
No, they`re far too big for a 500 class heli.

Hey there guys just dropped one of these into my Tamiya Hornet re-issue, and found that from first power up, it will go left right, left right etc as your wanting it, for about 3 seconds then it goes full lock to the right and stops responding ... Anyone else have this problem ?.
 jsvjunior 7 points
já* vei acontecer isto, mas só* nos servos power hd1201mg
 The Bear 103 points
Never had the problem and I have had 4 of them in a 2m petrol aircraft flying aerobatics for over 25Hrs without issue. You must have got a duff one.
 Ivan 4 points
Hey Bear, input voltage ?
 The Bear 103 points
Using 6V of a UBEC powered from a 2S 2500mAh LIPO
 H-KING_SCOTT 5160 points
Sounds like the servo is being stalled by something to me.
 Anthon Bjerre 1 points
Ivan -I have the same prob. I hooked this servo directly to the Naza. My system started to beep and the was a bad smell and white smoke ..... ???!!! Any idea anyone

is this coreless servo? sorry im still new to rc
 skycraft 147 points
no its not core less is when there are no way of stripping the servo gears as it has a magnetic clutch inside that will relief the tension on gear for short period as not to strip the gears.

 caseMasterxL 8 points
This is not a coreless servo. It is a very tough servo though, I use this on my rock crawler truck for months now and never broke gears. Very tough and waterproof servo.
 The Bear 103 points
These servos are not coreless. However skycraft is wrong with the description of a coreless servo. A coreless servo has not got a 3 pole winding around a iron core, it has the winding rotating around fixed magnets. This means the rotor is lighter and therefore can get up to speed faster, alowing the servo to react quicker than a cored servo. Coreless digital servos are fantastic for fast presition operation but are expensive and normally only used by top competion fliers and if as you say you ha

Are they really waterproof?
 yash 12224 15 points
Yes they are waterproof!!! I have use it on my vortex hydro racing boat... Water was coming in.. No damage was done to the servo.
 brad 1 points
they are waterproof but i have used one on my cr-01 and it did get a little bit of water inside it.
 xylonite 1307 points
yes they did but for extra insurance just add a little gear grease.
RaptorFly  219 points - 7/18/2012

I have 7 of these and at 4-5V they jitter! at 6V they seem to be better but I'm worried.. what is causing the Jitter and what Voltage and AMP (BEC size) is should be using?
 GREG 10 points
Remember Digital Servos draw a little more so if you are use seven together you need a separate BEC than your ESC with no less than 6v.
 The Bear 103 points
I have a plane with 8 of these in and I use a separaye UBEC set to 6 volts. I run all my 2.4Ghz radio equipment on 6 Volts as you have less chance of Brown out and it reduces current draw. Watt's Law show that for a given power the higher the voltage the lower the current. Also with the higher Voltage the servo torque and speed is higher.
aditya2226  7 points - 6/23/2012

hey guys can we use this servo for ahf 3d heli as main servos plz help me with this
 aditya2226 7 points
i dont know
 juanjo2 15 points
i use this servos for a 50cc plane 3d, but i read people who use this servos for helis and there reporte great funtion !!
 450flyer 63 points
i use on a raptor 30 with no issues, would use on something larger without hesitation. just watch the depth of the servo, and align style frame the servos would need to be spaced away from the frame to fit!
 The Bear 103 points
You could but the speed is a little slow for the Hard Core 3D competion fliers, however it is upto the job for most 3D Club fliers.
bill  1 points - 6/15/2012

Can this servo be controlled by a servo controller like lynxmotion SSC32 ?
 Palber 115 points
It's a very specific question, maybe you should ask lynxmotion. Lynxmotion SSC32 manual says: "Apply 4.8vdc to 6.0vdc for most analog or digital servos" But only Lynxmotion can answer you safely.

The weight of these package is right? I received 5 servos this week and weighted on package of servos and the weight of each one closed in the package is 85,3 grams.
 Palber 115 points
Shipping Weight = Size Product Weight (main package) For this reason the shipping weight is > 85,3 grams.
 Evgeny 25 points
The weight of this servo with 64.1 grams of cushioning rubber bands and rocking with two shoulders.
 RaptorFly 219 points
Hi mate, Yes the package weight is alway over estimated for HK to avoid paying more and make a few extra $$ to the price of the goods. But Still cheaper than others. we shouldn't complain. No worries.

I have these on a 50cc yak 54 on the ailerons and elevator using max deflection. I opened them up and added more grease when they were new, and i just opened them after 50 flights to check on the gears. The gears show no sighn of wear, tight as the day i got them. when the servos were new they did some slight studdering when i moved from full left to full right, not sure why but that went away after 3 flights, maybe the added grease had to spread

Die sind gut, die sind schnell aber unglcklicherweise ziehen die anstndig Strom, deutlich mehr als vergleichbare der Konkurrenz. Das sollte man unbedingt bercksichtigen wenn man mehrere einsetzen will...
