go for the 6inch spring clamp tool. this one has a max. 5cm opening and is just about perfect for your 4cm wood block.

These are not the cheap ones you see at reject stores. In fact I was surprised to see how strong they were. If you momentarily clamp it on your nipple you wont be sleeping that night.

This thing is so tiny and so amazingly strong!I bought it to hold some connections when I solder and was amazed by how small and strong this is!

Strong сlamps, suitable for hard tree or other hard things, for penoplast and balsa don't work (carefully!!!)
