in what respect are the turnigy's better than the zippy

The Turnigys give me about 150 rpm more rotor speed, since the voltage drop is lower. I measured it but I can also recognise it during the flight.
Flighttime is about the same.

The balance wires are in silicone (much easier to move around). The main current wires are in 10 AWG in stead of 12. And also, the wires are slightly longer.

In my experience, the Turingy also has significantly lower internal resistance. 10ohms for my turingys, and 60 for the zippys! (Same mah, cells, and C-rating)

Concerned about the current quality of the hk turnigy battery line right now. Last six 6s batteries I ordered over the last three months two are dead, each lost a cell and one is insanely imbalanced. Yes I know how to take care of and charge lipos. Use two powerlabs and charge * 1c most of the time, never over 2c. I have turnigy batteries that are three years old and still going strong. I feel hk has a quality issue now and won't admit it. Getting tired of tearing apart two batteries to make one good one!

I use them in my T-Rex 500 and they are perfect. Even highly discharge is no problem, I fly Loopings and "beginner 3D".
They have a very good performance, I also have the Zippy Flightmax with same capacity, but the Turnigys are better.

I have a Trex 500 and Use the Turnigy 2650mAh 30C and they have great power.I purchased a TP 45C pro power as well.The Turnigy so far has been a real bargain.Im buying 2 more(Turnigy).

I ordered 2 on june 13 sat. They just cleared customs today on the 19th fri. So they are here in the states and should be here soon.

I just got them in today on the 26th Fri. On my small digital scale they weigh 470grams with the connectors. With a digital caliper the dimensions are 135.5 x 43.5, 35.5mm. They have 10 gauge wire. Now i have to solder on the deans and break them in with my Trex 500.

i got 2 pack for my trex500esp. tis batt i can said WOOO n the power is WAAA.. i got 14min for jus hovering n light 3d for near to 7min.

I use these on my 500 with NP at all 5.10 sport flying with mild 3D come down Luke warm and take about 70 % chagre back with 100-95-95-95-100 TC

These are perfect for T-rex 500. If you have an older 500 kit, you need to lower the battery tray. Align has made that modification and the current 500 esp kit comes with the tray lowered already.

I fly these in a Trex 500 and they are great,balance well.It punches out as quick as my TP 2650 45C Pro Power pack,no kidding.

I ordered two of these batts. One showed up semi balanced but after trying to charge it I can not get one cell to charge past 4.12v. The second battery was insanely out of balance. The lowest cell is 3.72v and the highest is 3.89v. I could have saved a $140 and just bought a Hyperion.

I got six flights out of this lipo. Broke it in lightly (2 mins 1st flight, 3 mins 2nd flight, 4 mins 3rd flight, etc.). At the 6th flight, helo started losing power. Put it on a charger, and it showed only 5S instead of 6S. Thought the charger was malfunctioning, reset it, and it still showed 5S. So I guess the conclusion is a bad cell, which means bad battery!! Good power, bad reliability!!!

Bought two of these batterys and all was good untill after 25 flights and three months later. I never discharged the packs past 1800mah or even crashed. One of the batterys cells shorted out. found this out when i tried to charge it. i was lucky it didnt catch fire!! i hope there all not like this as i bought many turnergy batts. Just a heads up i still love the batterys but ALWAYS USE A LI-PO SACK (there cheep look!)or steel can when at home!!!

just got three of these packs and for the first time i got two bad batterys. i pack is reading 4.20 4.19 4.17 4.19 4.18 3.81 this is really frustrating and i suppose i have to pay for shipping to get new ones. the other reads 4.20 4.17 4.11 4.18 4.12 4.12 ive had nothing but good luck until i decide to order some 6s. i guess im screwed for another few weeks

Bought four packs and power is very good. However on one pack on cell dropped its voltage to 3.7 while other were 4.2. I aallways charge with Hyperion Duo and balancers connected. This pack is now unsuable. Other three are still going strong!
