is there any trick to make this thing fit? Its crazy hard to press this thing on.

Check your shaft diameter, Align 250 motor has a 2.5mm shaft. If you have a 2.5 shaft you can open it up carefully with a 2.5mm drill, it's only 0.008in different. The drill will follow the existing hole.

PRESS FIT IT ON WITH A VISE. C-CLAMPS ALSO WORK WELL. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A C-CLAMP THERE CHEAP AND CAN BE BOUGHT JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE TOOLS ARE SOLD. tapping it on with a hammer has a slight risk of breaking magnets losse or cracking them.

How do you mount this pinion to the motor shaft. Is there a lock nut? The one I got has no lock nut and fits loosely on to the motor shaft - there is about 0.2 mm clearance. Can you glue it with epoxy or cyanoacrylate glue? Thanful if somebody could advise me on this.

not grub screw or lock nut for this pinion, just interference fit on a 2.3mm motor shaft.

You could have one of those motors with 2mm shaft that's why it is loose. Mine fits perfectly on a turnigy 2627 motor.

i mounted it on a turnigy 2627 motor for my hk250gt. fits very tight. to be safe you should add a bit additional glue anyways.

13-06-09 Hi hobbycity . Do you have those mod 1 pinion 10T to 15T for the 1/8 buggy n truggy conversion ? Wish u have them .So i can get all my item here . As i will be order lipo battery , BL motor , 1/8 ESC n other item for my buggy n truggy . Thank you .

Finally a pinion that will match and mesh properly with my trex 250 main gear. Gives me 6 mins of hovering with turnigy 4200 kv motor and 800 3S battery.
