The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
People! Don't buy there!
They are thieves!
I had paid them, they have cancelled my order and until today I don't have any concrete answer from them.
Also I don't have my MONEY!!!
Step one: connect the battery to your charger, you will have to use 4mm bullet connectors and also connect the balancer
step 2: turn your charger on and go to menu of lipo
step 3: select the charge option
Step4: wait until the battery is fully charged!
That is it!
Roger, thanks for your contribution.
I was more thinking like a picture og the battry hooked up to the charger. Which wires go where. And then a step-by-step guide for this battery and the Accucel-6 together. Like,1: do this, 2: do that, 3: do this, 4: watch out for this...
I need a clear explanation on how to connect and charge this battery pack using a Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 6A Balancer/Charger. Can anyone point me to pictures, step-by-step guide or a connection wiring diagram?

Hi Kasoan, do you already have these items or you just want to know how to connect it? Cause when you have the items already, I think you will be able to figure out how to wire it yourself. Will take a picture of the 4mm bullet connector later to show you how.
I have already received the items. I can see that the bullet connectors go into the discarge plugs on the charger (I have already soldered a new cable) and that the JST-XH plug fits into the charger. My question (among many) is, should I connect both cables at the same time? Which charger settings are suited for this battery pack? In which order do start the process? What about all the warnings I read in forums, will the whole thing blow up and how to prevent it?
You should plug both the JST-XH and the bullet connector. Even when doing just the regular charge, balance charge or the fast charge. This way, you will be able to monitor the individual charge of the cells. This battery pack can be charged up to 2c (10A) but I charge mine with just 1C (5A) since that's the capacity of my charger. Don't worry too much about the warnings about exploding lipo, it is true but I don't think you will be able to over-charge this lipo with the accucel 6, it has auto cut off safety features so your safe, you can choose, current limit or time limit. It also stops charging when the lipo is full. As a newbie I was alarmed by those warnings too, but if you see the videos in you tube, deliberate overcharging of lipos to let it explode involves a few amps more than the limit of the lipo. Read more from forums and learn some safety precautions and your gonna be fine. :)
eu estou montando um quadcopter, com 4 motores de corrente má*xima de 10A, minha dú*vida é*, com a bateria de 5000 mah, terá* autonomia em quantos minutos? Obrigado
I'm building a quadcopter, with 4 engines maximum current of 10A, my question is, with the battery of 5000 mah, have autonomy in how many minutes? Thanks
2C is perfectly ok,personally when I am out flying and want to recharge my battery I will charge at 2C,when I am at home and time is not so much of an issue I will charge at 1C or less.
You've over-discharged your battery. Charge it in Nimh program first. You must charge the battery in Nimh mode until it reaches 9.6 V. You must be present during the operation because it may overheat. When you get to 9.6 V using 3S LiPo balancing mode. On the next flight be careful, surely you've lost some battery discharge capacity. I recommend using a voltage warning buzzer (P. Id: DL-Volt-Alarm)
preciso saber a respeito do meu pedido quamdo vai chegar ,pois nao tenho nenhuma resposta ja faz algum tempo esperando ,estou no aguardo desde ja agradeco
Okay, so you'll have to forgive me, I'm new. I've got the Turnigy Max80W charger and a power supply. I'm stumped on how many amps and volts to charge this battery at. (I'm assuming the charger should be set for 3s as well..) **Thanks
When you set Your Charger To 3s,it will automatically charge the pack at the rated voltage but when it comes to the current..you have to specify that in accordance with your pack..as in this case any value bellow or equal to 5 amps should charge your lipo safely..good luck
Oi amigo. Infelizmente não cabe, a não ser q faça algum tipo de alteração no compartimento de bateria pois a dimensão máxima para baterias é 140mm x 47mm x 33mm. E a bateria em questão tem 146 x 50 x 25mm.[]
Exelente bateria, uso no meu traxxas Slash e roda 100pcnt
Alto torque alta duração com bons carregadores. recomendo a todos a HobbyKing
Excellent battery, use it on my traxxas Slash and runs 100pcnt
High torque high boots with good length. I recommend everyone to HobbyKing
Height and length is fine but the 25mm width stops the lid from closing due to the little bit extra width. These will fit: www.link are a little bit thinner which makes the difference. To be fair I haven't noticed any difference between the non nano and these ones performance wise.
Sorry Peder didn't know Hobby King masked links in the replies. The linked was for the Turnigy nano-tech 4500mah 3S 25~50C Lipo Pack, it's 22mm wide and fits the standard Flux box fine (use the size of this pack so you can compare others on here that will fit the Flux battery boxes). I have used the packs on my Flux and they work well and only puffed a little after heavy use the Flux throws at it. I tested the Turnigy 5000mAh 3S 25C Lipo Pack your looking at on this page in the Flux box before and the lid doesn't shut due to the little bit extra width and height they have as the sides hit the cover. I'm using the Desert Boy 17 TVP's so I mount all my packs inside the chassis that's how I can use these batteries.
Yes it will fit in the Savage flux. I removed the tops of the battery boxes and just use two straps of velcro all the way around to hold them in. One strap even fits perfect into the old plastic clip holder. Just make sure you have the foam in as well and you are good to go. The battery box on the savage flux is a ***r design and most people use velcro straps of some kind to help out.
Complete noob when it comes to Lipo. Can anyone suggest a charger for this pack, and what is the connection I would need for a Traxxas Slash? Thanks for all and any help in advance.
You need a lipo compatible charger (GET ONE WITH A INDIVIDUAL CELL BALLANCER!) In fact, hobby king sells some really good ones so click on batteries and at the bottom of the the list the is 'chargers' over there you can find lot of good ones,
I will be getting this: www.link the connector, you will have to buy a connector for a 4mm bullet plug to the traxxas plug or you can solder either the battery or the esc to get a fitting connector (if the battery, solder the traxxas plug on, or if its the esc solder 4mm bullet plugs on)
Hope this helps
and remember to get this too: www.link
You can get the IMAX charger discharger and balancer. Any lipo charger that has an AMP of the size for your lipos batteries. I mean if you have a 5000mah lipo batteries you should have a charger with 5.0A rate or higher. The connector for Slash is traxxas connector. but you can buy an adapter for it thx
I use the Turnigy A-6, I have the old one that only did 5A max. So the new one at the link here will charge them just a little faster. And i would just use the Traxxas High Voltage plugs for it, they work very well. Any of the Turnigy Lipos, will be a direct fit on the balance plug for the turnigy chargers. www.link
well from experiance, this pack may not even fit the slash, it doesn't fit the 4x4 or the rustler stampede bandit. if you have ordered it, you will need a traxxas high current connector. Any charger lipo compatible that can put out around 6 amps is most efficiant for this battery. Hope this helped.
Yes they fit but the lids dont close so I also use velcro straps. I would caution these packs as I had one swell after the first use. It cost more to ship it back for warrenty than a new pack costs!!! :-(
I seen Steve ask if they fit a Rustler VXL, and I just received 3 of them. Hell no they don't fit, they are too wide, and I can barely make them slide down into the tray, and then once I get that far, omg, TOO LONG. So now I have the convience of removing my ESC and cutting out the back wall and HOPING that my ESC doesn't get in the way of it, and also the battery tray cover is now useless as the pack is TALL. Otherwise I hope they work ok.
Theres a way that you can put them. You need to slide the bottom corner of the pack into the tray, then slide it back as far as you can. Then simply take some electric tape and wrap it around the whole chassis right in front of the antennae. You can also take a 1 or 2 foot long piece of Velcro and cut the chassis where the lip on the side forms a right angle with the chassis deck, still in front of the antennae on both sides, and loop it so that it secures the battery.
Just got one of these today. To connect to EC3 is it best just to cut off the bullet connectors that come with it and solder on EC3 or is there some sort of adaptor plug between the two?
Good battery. took 4 pieces for his e-revo. the size of the wires sticking out a bit. so I had to solder them suddenly at the side of the battery. But after everything was super.
Does anybody have a declaration of (CE)conformity, prferably in German? If yes, please answer me and upload it. I need one to get my order at the custom office. It is urgent. Thank you very much.
These batteries are great! ive used two of them on the formula fastech wired up in series (22.2v) and it works great! everything stock besides these batts and the boat hits 46.7mph!!!
it wont. However you can wedge it into the tray and tape the part sticking out. The only problem is that the discharge rate is possible to fry your esc

Hey All, will this battery fit in a erevo stampede? The tray is 135x46x30, I have a turnigy 3000mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack Size: 137 x 42 x 18mm and it fits easy and kicks butt, these batteries are excellent and cheap, too good. Thanks

Question: What kind of connectors are ya'll using on your E-Revos with these batteries? I use the brilliant ultra T connectors sold on this site (hint hint deans, $2.79 for a pair? Really? and no ribbed sides either?) with all my vehicles and my Zippy packs have them as well, but I dunno how to solder 8GW wires on to them :/
I have just started using the Castle Creations 6.5mm bullets. I love them, and they support 200A. I have used deans in the past, but the were getting warm on my Savage flux so i wanted to upgrade. I strongly recomend the 6.5 Castle Creations Bullets
I use traxxas, when you solder it, put some heat shrink tubing around the part where the connector and wire are soldered. It will compact the wires therefore making it easier to assembled.

HEY CLINT ... did you modify your battery door or just leave it half open. i am debating if i really want to cut on my battery doors or just leave them.
I just trimmed a little bit out of each battery door. Nothing major just a bit and they work perfect.. I swear they run just like my maxamps, you cant tell the difference.
I bought two of these to try foe my E-revo brushless edition. The battery size will fit your tray perfect but there is still a problem. The wires are 8awg and they are big and fat and come out the top side of the battery. Well do to this fat wire sticking out the edge you will not be able to close your battery tray. You can close the side with no wires just fine but the end with the plugs will need to be modified. Because those wires are so close to the edge it makes that side of your battery about 53mm and your ERBE tray is only 50mm wide. Just something to think about.
Clint you are correct... the batteries fit perfect* HOWEVER the wires are so fat that the battery door doesnt want to close... you will have to trim off the top rear of each side of the battery trays to get the doors to completely fit. i havent put ends on mind just yet, so i dont know how the performance of the batteries are.
I been running these Turnigy 11.1v 5000mah 25 c and they perform awesome. I also have maxamps 11.1v 5250 mah 30c lipos and I cant tell the difference performance wise between the two no joke.
I am a MaxAmps dealer and since this is fairly anonymous I will say compared to them, these are just as good if not better in every way, Performance is amazing, price is unbeatable, and they have a pretty long life. I have 2 of these batteries and running them in series in a MMM 2200 powered Revo makes it haul *** I will never buy another MaxAmps battery as long as I live. But if anyone doesn't share my sentiment I will help you out. *-)
I am also a Max amps dealer and since their price increase last year i have stopped ordering from them and started ordering from hobby city. the performance and quality seems to be the same if not better with the Zippy's and Turnigy's
Just make a 1 square inch hole where the leads extend from the battery. It does not effect the strength and it will close perfectly. Used it on mine for 7 months without any issues
The burst of 30C being so close to the constant of 25C is normally a trademark of an overboastful C rating. So far Turnigy has made decent stuff, and i wont slander a battery without testing it, but it is a thought.
Hi , I would like to konw , if the turnigy lipo 25C, as good as the zippy flightmax 25C , because 'I need some batteries, but the zippy are not available.. tanks to all..!!
I think the turnigys are a little better pack. Most have a high C-charge rate. I have both Zippys and Turnigys and both work great. But the Turnigys can be charged at 5c where my zippys are 1c
i bought thouse for my savage flux and i didnt cheack they a little higher so i use straps on savage flux battery box works good going like 25 and doing backflips with this battery i never toped out to much to much

These batteries are great. Good price and even better performance. They last long and never get over temp. I want to order 40 more if I could. Thanks zippie.
