What 2.4 DSM Spread receiver should/could I use with this battery? Every reciever I see says a voltage range of 3.4-9.whatever, but no 11.1V. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I'm new and I don't really want to waste my money on something that I'm going to burn up or not be able to use. Thank you.
dsm spectrum receivers will take up to 2cells lipo but not 3cells but be careful the choice of servos you use as most servos are only 4.8volts hope this helps regards johnsnr
Cheapest option: www.link recommendation: Hyperion EOS0606I AC/DC Balance Charger 6S/6A 50W
Reasoning: It charges all major battery types (LiFe/LiPo/NiCd/Pb) and can take power from 110/240v wall outlets or 12v direct (car battery etc) and has variable charge rates to match whatever batteries you have.
It also reports on the mah put into (or taken out of if you're using discharge mode) the battery so you can see h
Il faut bien respecter les cycles de charges et décharges, attendre si possible 24h avant de les recharger suite a une utilisatio, et ne pas trop les decharger, sinon elles gonflent !
Ce sont de bonnes batteries.
It means, this pack is made out of 3cells with 1600mAh each. You could also take two packs with 800mAh and connect them parallel to get the same capacity (2P).
A 1P pack mostly perfoms better than a 2P pack with same dimensions, so 1P is a sign for quality also.
1P = cells interconnected by summing the voltage
2P = cells interconnected by summing the voltage and mAh
Ex 3S1P - ??3-cell 1600mAh summing 11.1v
Ex 3S2P - 6-cell 533mAh summing 1600mAh and 11.1v
the stufe is perty cheap and esy to order but it take over a weeak to get it shipe and a eternity to get it and tracking is inexistant for that i giv it a suck star other then that it's all good
It means parallel. So it is how many cells that are parallel. Basically, the p means the number of parallel cells making up each 'cell' wired in series for voltage. Here is a diagram i made: (when the wires cross in the diagram, they don't connect to each other, they go over each other). replace spelled characters with the characters for the www.link

I want to find a LiPo to power my Hitec Auroa Optima 9-ch RX and my lighting for my 600 scale heli.
I was looking at the Turnigy 3S 1600mAh or 2200mAh. Can anyone guide me in to choosing the best LiPo for my needs?
I'm using a Turnery 6S 5000mAh for the motor. I don't want to share this power with any other equipment. That is why I'm looking for 2 more power sources.
Thanks
You might want to use a low discharge LiPo battery for a transmitter. High discharge batteries can do "burst" discharges on their own frying your transmitter. I'd suggest using the Rhino 2620mAh 3S 11.1v Low-Discharge Transmitter Lipoly Pack
Good afternoon! The battery that you can use in your transmitter are as follows: Rhino 2620mAh 3S 11.1v Transmitter Lipoly Low-Discharge Pack 2650mAh 3S 1C or Turnigy LLF Tx Pack (Futaba / JR). In their sequancia www.link
If you want to run your Receiver (RX) with this, you have to check if the rx can handle the voltage. And even then i see no need in 3S, 2S would be enough unless your lighting needs so much voltage
Jsem zklamany!! Vlastnil jsem tuto 3S baterii uz drive /Turnigy 1600mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack/, mela rozmery 89 x 31 x 25mm a byly vyborne do Toro 900 a Fokker Dr.1. Proto jsem si objednal dalsi 4ks. Dorazily ale s jinmi rozmery: 106 x 35 x 19mm, ktere jsou mi nanic - jsou velke!!
POZOR ZMENA PUVODNICH ROZMERU BATERII: Drive 89 x 31 x 25mm a NYNI 106 x 35 x 19mm !!
Moje skoda-jejich skoda. Budu muset prejit na Rhino Lipo.
I'm disappointed!! I have owned this battery already previously /Turnigy 1600mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack/, had dimensions 89 x 31 x 25mm/ were excellent in Toro 900 a Fokker Dr.1. So I ordered another 4 pieces. Arrived but with different dimensions: 106 x 35 x 19mm - unusable for me! They are too long.
ATTENTION! CHANGE DIMENSION OF BATTERY:
previously - 89 x 31 x 25mm
nowadays - 106 x 35 x 19mm !! Too bad!
I have to go to Rhino Lipo.
I just got mine, when i try to cut the connectors the wire got shorten just for a fraction of a second but the battery died on the spot no voltage anymore. Is there anyway to retrieve it again?? Balance charger can't be it reads low voltage.
when replacing connectors, always cut one wire at a time, and shield/shroud/shrinkwrap it before starting on the other.
you can try trickle-charging it under your full attention to see if it can be revived. google search on how to do it (high risk)
Just received mine and it is 22mm thick not 15mm as sayed in the description. Luckily it still fits into my plane. I think the description should be changed from 15mm to 22mm. Now i only have to test the performance of the lipo
Correct they are approx 20.3mm I put them in a 1/16 e-revo, and order to do so I had to remove the battery doors, and dremel a portion of the compartment (where it tapers on the edges) to shoe horn these in there, and its a tight fit. Added velcro to the outsides of the batteries, and a strip around the whole chassis holds them snugly in place. the revo compartment (1/16th) is 101wx20.3hx35d and the batteries fill every space.

This is a good pack but when you have it in your hand it seems almost the same size as the 2200 3 cell pack. It is lighter, a bit shorter, and a touch thinner but no way is it 15mm thick. Possibly during manufacture the packs are assembled loosely. On the positive side, my pack provides a really good capacity and it performs nearly as well as the 2200 of the same series.
Very good battery for the price and I am very pleased with performance.

5 thumbs up!
Yes, about 22mm thick. Bought them when they were still measured incorrectly... that's why they only get 3 stars, because for me it's now wasted money.
I wanted them for the new E-Revo VXL (1:16). No, they don't fit.

Great value for the money but doesn't quite stack up to the Flightmaxx line of batteries. I found the capacity to be slightly under rated, 1693 mAH instead of stated 1600 - which is a good thing. However, these batteries came down warm to touch (about 98 degrees F) after flighing 3-7 amps to a resting voltage of 3.8 V/cell. The 1300 mAH 20C flghtmax packs come down cool to touch in the same set up drawing 3-10 amps.
i've ordered 4 of this for may last fliyng wing project powered by a BL outrunner "bell" motor .I've calculed the duration flight connecting an old 1300mAh pack with the BL motor and esc with may "Watts Up" meter:the result was very extended (plus15 min) relaxed flights at half trottle!

Check for size before you buy, because 15mm can't be thruth
