Light weight composite alloy makes this mount very light and very strong. With mount hole distances of 15 and 22mm, this mount can take a wide variety of motors. The mount is adjustable in length and can be cut down to size. Perfect for mounting to gas planes for electric conversions!
Mar11 really. Well ONE screw my hold it but one day it will come loose then you will have wished you put in the other 2. I do think you are very BRAVE!
This works on 4 hole motors, most motors have an X piece that comes with it, I just used the three holes. It worked fine for me. Just remember to really use plenty of glue/epoxy to fasten the mount to your plane! I used glue to hold it in place then added several layers of hot glue over it. There is a HUGE amount of torque being put on the mount. Good luck!
So we do agree. You only see 3 holes because that is all there is. I found it is just enough. The four mount hole is left in the air and it does need you to keep am eye on it. It does tend to come lose after 3 or 4 flights,
why not provide this frame with NO holes so one can drill their own holes to fit. Also provide enough metal to drill all 4 holes to mount motor on frame.
its pretty hard metal im sure you can drill throught it fine as long as you have something to help keep it steady but it has several different holes on it to help with mounting on different surfaces
I have a pt-40 trainer gas with a gas mount in it. Has anyone tried using two of these mounted upsidedown to each other in a gas .40 size conversion to electric . Having two , upside down would allow for mounting to all 4 holes on the electric motor if there is enough room ..?

4 thumbs up!
Nice and strong mount. Very light, The mounting holes are perfect if your mounting a tunigy 22-xx or a 28-xx, it only allows 3 screws to mount up these motors. You can only fit 2 screws in a Tunigy 35-xx, not the best idea for a high power motors.
Stronger than it looks in the pic. Using it to convert a small 25 size glow plane to electrics. This mount made it possible to mount the motor in glow engine mount without making extensive mods.
