Arrived and am very disappointed. I need to servo reverse. What sort of PC cable is required and where does it plug into the transmitter? Waste of money at this stage.

Advertises that it needs a PC to program but does not mention no cable supplied. After searching I find this cable is only $3, unbelievable it is not included at only $3 Worse is that the cable is not in stock so even if you knew you had to buy one you cant buy one. Cant find any FILES for the unit here, click of Files tab and nothing shows. There should at least be pin out to make our own cable. .HK sell this product that is not useable, the extra cable (cost) required is not disclosed and not even available for sale Fact is the advertising is clearly misleading and against the Australian Consumer Laws and I will be lodging a written complaint with CAB.if this cable is not made available or pinots for the least that would enable a buyer to use the product paid for.

You can make your own cable using a usb to RS232 adapter (PL2303) and a male standard 4-pin miniature DIN connector normally used on S-Video cable* the pinout of the transmiter trainer port is:1-PPM, 2- 5Vcc (both not used in this cable) 3- TX, 4-RX and the shield is GND .

Just one question, does this model use the FHSS technology like HobbyKing HK6S 2.4Ghz FHSS 6Ch Tx & Rx model?? I am asking it because I saw in the manual shared in the tab files ("MANUAL HKT6A"), this is a Fly Sky manual, and there show in the topic "Transmitter parameters" that the modulation type is the FM modulation. I am in doubt now. Could you help me??
 NewToHobbyKing 15656 points
Everton no not FHSS it is Modulation: GFSK (or DSSS) and Spread Spectrum Mode: AFHDS. The manuals it the file tab may show a different Tx (FlySky??) but much of the info is good.

The throttle channel doesn't function. Is it the Tx or the Rx. do I need to return both?
 n-nike 106 points
I think it is the transmitter.most probably the TX has a problem in these situations.Thank you.Return both if you want but only TX replacement should work.

I have one of these under a different badge and 3 extra receivers in planes to match. Excellent value basic 2.4G set, decent feel, 8xAA. Only store one model memory at a time on board, back to PC to swap models. I just set all my planes to the same config (delta mix). 10plus hours fly time to 200Meters, nil glitches, cool.
On my software version: ACRO or Heli modes, Dual rates, no expo, 3 mixes (your selection), end stop, trim. Well worth it.

A VERY nice product at a great price ( if you can bundle it with other things..) but Oh!.. no manual and no application software? And no mention of either or how to get it?? Not like you blokes to be so remiss..
Anyway..1 star off for being slack.
For those wanting the manual ( mentioned under the Mode 2 reviews) or the t6 config.exe file ( see top left corner of screen shot of setup page above) you can get links and some tips here... hobbycit

Continued: The programing cable doesn't double as a sim cable. I would love a trainer cable but don't know that the software has been upgraded to utilise Switchs A or B for trainer (my software only allows switches selectable as "throttle cut" or "Dual rates" in ACRO (plane) mode).

This radio still has a lot to offer, decent quality, reliable operation and AWSOME VALUE for a budget 2.4G system.
