Hi, I am new to this RC world, I purchased one TX & RX radio and receiver and connected to my RC plane but the throttle channel (Channel No:3) is not working. Is there any way to reprogram / Rest the receiver? Motor: A2212- 1000 kv ESC: hobby king 30 A UBEC Lipo: 11.1 V 3 cell Radio: hobby king 6 channel TX & RX

First just check you have the Throttle a Zero (Full Down) and you do not have the Motor Kill Switch ON (Top Left hand side, needs to be full back, to be off). If that does not help then:::::: Sajith is every thing else working? If you yes then do a servo test first. (Remove Prop) Plug the ESC into another channel (Channel 5 or 6 would be good for easy control. Any other channel will cause the motor to spin to half speed), plug a servo into channel 3. See if channel moves. If so all good it is more, than likely CH3 is reversed. So you will need:: Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6Ch Tx USB Cable (SKU: FS-L001). Also the Software and Drivers found under the "Purple File Tab".

Would I be able to modify this radio so both left and right self center for use on something like a Tamiya 1/14 semi?
 Rexy03 1551 points
yes but you will need a second transmitter to swap the parts you need
 NewToHobbyKing 14513 points
Peter yes you can and all you need is the correct type of springs. In fact if you are not using left and right on any stick, then you can steal the springs (and any parts needed) from there!

Can anyone suggest a satellite receiver fot the hk t6a Tony
 NewToHobbyKing 14513 points
Dingo there is non, neither can this Receiver take a Satellite Receiver. Trust me it does need it. (The old version the V1, took a Satellite and is not compatible with the V2).

Peter only if you used Wireless Buddy Box System 4CH (Dual RX Controller) (SKU: DUAL-RX4-01) Please consider!

Hi. I believe it can be done. Use one mix from throttle to channel 6, so they will output the same signal. One motor will be on throttle channel, and second on channel 6. Then program another mix, from rudder to channel 6. You must play with direction of the mix by using positive/negative numbers, but this will give you the differential motor thrust you require on rudder input. I am 95% sure this will work.
 NewToHobbyKing 14513 points
Bizon the problem is that: Yes that will work But you will never be able to had Full Throttle on both motors!
 Bizon 33 points
You are not right. Throttle to both motors will go to full. But there is one drawback, on full throttle the differential mix will only work to one side...

Biron OK so you cannot go straight with full throttle!

I have one of these under a different badge and 3 extra receivers in planes to match. Excellent value basic 2.4G set, decent feel, 8xAA. Only store one model memory at a time on board, back to PC to swap models. I just set all my planes to the same config (delta mix). 10plus hours fly time to 200Meters, nil glitches, cool.
On my software version: ACRO or Heli modes, Dual rates, no expo, 3 mixes (your selection), end stop, trim. Well worth it.

A VERY nice product at a great price ( if you can bundle it with other things..) but Oh!.. no manual and no application software? And no mention of either or how to get it?? Not like you blokes to be so remiss..
Anyway..1 star off for being slack.
For those wanting the manual ( mentioned under the Mode 2 reviews) or the t6 config.exe file ( see top left corner of screen shot of setup page above) you can get links and some tips here... hobbycit

Continued: The programing cable doesn't double as a sim cable. I would love a trainer cable but don't know that the software has been upgraded to utilise Switchs A or B for trainer (my software only allows switches selectable as "throttle cut" or "Dual rates" in ACRO (plane) mode).

This radio still has a lot to offer, decent quality, reliable operation and AWSOME VALUE for a budget 2.4G system.
