The servo comes with a servo accessory package and is made with a heavy duty servo case, the servo is designed for R/C high performance Car applications. Double ball bearing with flexible rubber waterproof, otherwise the ourput spline is same with Futaba 25 tooth.
This servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connector also known as a "Universal Connector". Even thought this servo comes with JR/Hitec S Connectors, this servo is electrically compatible with Futaba receivers.

Put two on my emaxx, it was all centered and everything. had it sitting for say 2 minutes while i looked for my favorite body came back. Wasn't running, I smelt burning. Long story short, one servo got fried when the vehicle was just sitting idle. My mamba monster needs to be played with to get it to work now, I'm running on one bluebird, which is very under powered for the emaxx. These draw some serious current.
I could of returned it, but it was just to much inconvenience, plus with the sour taste of my mambas bec almost becoming fried.
I have do have one in my acme trooper and it's amazing, but I will not buy another one of these and attempt a two servo setup again, I didn't hear any signs of the servos fighting each other, I don't understand why it fried.
Now that I check the specs on my mamba monster, it only puts 1.3 amps out, so it's my fault on frying me internal bec. But still makes me wonder why my servo fried.
Hi, guys!
I've bought two of them recently, and at the moment I'm building zephyr 2 fpv plane. Servo arms what were coming as a set with this servo does not suit plane build. Can you suggest a plane servo arms for this servo or tell me how can I choose the right one for this servo?
The only problem with these servos is the body the plastic ears are brittle and breaks easy if not mounted true and flush. Other then that I run these in my SC10 no problem fast response great servo for the $$.
Hello everyone.. Im new in RC world. Previously, I bought an Acme Trooper Hobbyking 1/10, and using HK-GT2 for the Tx/Rx. After 4 months using, my servo gear was stripped yesterday.
I purchased this servo last night, but now Im a bit worry. Will this servo work with my Trooper with stock setup (stock 35a ESC)? Because I saw a video in youtube says that this servo was dying in 3S battery (Im using 3S battery for my Trooper). Anyone can help me?
HI, the Servo does not get the full Voltage of the 3S, it gets 5V or so of the BEC f your Speedcontroller through your Reciever, so no worry on the Voltage Part. if you like this INfo please let me get rewarded... thank you
Usually the Standard output of a ESC is 5.0 Volts. If you want to have 6V for faster travel of the Servo you can always install a UBEC to your MOdel and feed the Servo of it, on certain UBECS here at HobbyKing you can select 4.8 and 6V by a small Jumper kinda like on a Harddrive on the back (to select Slave or Master on IDE Harddrives) .
i currently have around twenty different BMS metal gear servos in my planes and have only had one fail (servo creep happens to the best )and recommend them to all my friends good value for money.
Hello, Yes, you can use it in a plane, but it need more power than other kind of servo. I noticed that the mouvements are pitch by pitch around it's center point. So pay attention to this on precision flying machine.
A friend of mine runs these in 1 of his planes as he had no other servo, so far with no issues but if you run nice gear don't be tight and buy the real deal as it will cost you in the long run *-)
I used these on 50cc sting TL-2000, no problemo. however I didn't use the servo arm that comes with it, instead I used CNC servo arm from HK as well, stronger and more bling-bling
pas de probleme..assez precis et coupleux..par contre a ne pas l utilise avec giro ou stabilisateur numerique.cela ne foncionnera pas bien..voir bruler le moteur..seci et dus je suppose aux correction trop rapide et sais un servos torque..
Same servo as waypoints, have these in my CMPRO Mustang 120, very happy with them
W-1621MG High Speed, Metal-Gear Ball Bearing: Dual Gear Type: Metal Operating Voltage Range: 4.8V to 6.0V Motor Type: Double Magnetic Motor Dimensions (mm): 40.5 x 20.0 x 38.5 Dimensions (inch): 1.60 x 0.78 x 1.54 Weight: 47.0g / 1.66oz Torque (6.0V): 7.2kg / 109oz Speed (6.0V): 0.10sec / 60 deg
i put it in the tail of raptorE550 and it works fast and well, with G401 futaba, the G401 need to set in the analogic servo but for this price is more than good!
I couldn't have asked for more out of this servo. It works great and ranks right up there with some of the more expensive ones. You won't find a price as cheap as this one. Great deal and great product. 5 Stars.

Great servo, fast and strong. Goes to position immediately without overshot. We have two in Asso T3 1/10 off-road trucks as a steering servo.

Im using this in my Tamyia Frog and have no complaints, its strong, fast and precise and have taken the abuse I have put my Frog through so far, including driving through water. The servoattachment from Tamiya also fits perfectly.
