Mid-Cure 15 Min Epoxy 4.5 oz
MID-CURE 15 min. epoxy is used in larger areas where more working time is needed. It is more water resistant and can be used as a substitute for QUIK-CURE in most applications. MID-CURE is our most flexible epoxy and is ideal for gluing to fiberglass surfaces. Allow 45 minutes before handling parts and 2 hours for full strength.

 DAJARAJA 310 points

Jure in 15min?
 DAJARAJA 310 points
depends on how well you mix equal parts togeather.but great thing is, it gives you time to setup whatever your gluing togeather before it sets semi hard(15min).than you allow extra time to fully cure.gose along way ,great stuff .tip- mix up in small batches on big cluing jobs goodluck.

assume what you want , i have been building models for over 40 years and i think i know how to mix epoxy . your product is **** and i wont use again . it does not set properly . it sets rubbery and flexible . other model builders i know have the same opinion and we wont use HOBBY KING branded products . cheap is not always the answer . you only get what you pay for and your CHEAP epoxy is rubbish . You dont have a good after sales service record here in South Australia . so i understand your answer , you assume people are stupid . well you just lost another customer /NO MORE HK BRANDED **** FOR ME .

Can it be used as a finishing resin to cover balsa with fiberglass?
 ..j.. 19 points
I think the finish cure 20min expoxy might work better.
 AeroEscolaFly 86 points
This glue cured in yellow colour. If this is not a problem for you... but 15 minutes is a short time to do a resin high area fiberglass covering. May be better to go 30min epoxy (this is yellow finish too).
 glouisfr 15 points
I used this and you need to make sure that the humidity in the room you're going to use it is not too high or it will remain sticky for longer before you can sand down your part. Haven't used it on balsa but don't see why not but for small parts.
 RichG64 17 points
Yikes! dont use this to glass balsa ,use the finish cure 20 min cure as it is very runny ,like paint, and gives a great finish but takes hours to go off properly. However if you are determined to give it a go you will need to thin it with methylated spirits
 OldFartFlyer 1319 points
You could use this for that purpose, if you have no suitable alternative and you do not want to purchase the finish cure product. Sosave your money and use it. But watch out on two points. First, don't use less hardener as an attempt to make it work thinner. All that will happen is that it takes longer to cure and it might even sag in places as a result. Next, be very careful to make the coat as thin as possible. Brush it out. Otherwise you'll build up too much weight.
If money is no object, I would recommend getting the finish cure because it is thinner and more workable.

This is the same bottle as the Jamara Brand in Germany.
 chrigi-ch 29 points
Don't know if so, but the epoxy glue is a 15min Epoxy which is very good quality.
 Andrei 23 points
In my bottle write "made in USA", but i don't know where this glue were made.
PS I agree that the epoxy glue is a 15min Epoxy which is very good quality

Paulo  4 points - 5/12/2011

can it be used with wood to?
cleansurf2  388 points - 6/27/2009

Can this be used on styrofoam?

If not, what's the best glue for carbon wing spars into styrofaom?
Addvice appreciated thanks.
 Felar Furlong 1081 points
yes, it can be used of foam, but because it forms into much harder material than foam, it tends to tear foam around bond under the load or strike.
look for "uhu-por" glue, or something like it.
 Felar Furlong 1081 points
or simply use foam-safe ca.
 simon92 28 points
can it be used with wood?
 __Coyo 96 points
I'm sure it can. I have use many kind of epoxy glues, and all can bond wood.

220 thumbs up!
