i use Rounded Phillips Head M2x12 (10pcs/set) www.link and there is no need for a nut because it uses the small plastic part. also it has the benefit of not having sharp poinst comming out through the other end.

cut a slot in the control surface and push them though the bottom and use glue. they wont pull out.

Alexciara as Kampj said no but I have used servo mount screws. These work well. Also mount mount screw work. I hope this helps.

Really for larger models. Web is 3mm thick thinning to 1.5mm where the clevis attaches. Holes are at 16, 21, 26mm from surface. Base extends from 6 to 20mm from line of clevis holes.
