What's the recommended servo for it ?

from Lindinger Austria)

I asked them and they said they did not have it Do you have a link or part no etc thanks

Where do you get the retracts shown in the first part of Sirius35 video - Not these HK ones
parambir  7 points - 1/15/2013

On my easystar.

What are you using for the main strobe light? it looks like four separate LED lights. Also what size Servo do you have on the landing gear?
 parambir 7 points
Hi. The strobe is a standard 12V 8 LED module mostly used in cars. I am using a standard analog micro servo from HXT.

Would These Fit a Hobby Kign Walrus?
 Hady Esta 210 points
as it appear it would be a hassle to fit the landing gear in it , you can still try but i suggest not to as it will need a servo as well and the room is too small to be able to install it . if you are flying on sand or asphalt i would suggest if you add plastic stripe on the bottom easy and protective

Has anyone tried to mount these on a parkzone radian? if so does it work well?
 parambir 7 points
I have mounted it on Easystar and it works pretty well.
michael  2 points - 4/14/2012

can anyone tell it can rotate or not? from photo I guess it is not but ı* am not sure
 tonioaltea 713 points
yes you have two perforated squares that can be used with a servo and get the doors open any longer applied to remove the wheel, the truck is used for special monotraccia aircraft (rear wheel) or the gliders (wheel under belly or monotraccia)
parambir  7 points - 11/4/2010

I have received this wheel yesterday and my first impression... Wow this thing is bigger than I thought. Was planning to put it on my EZ*. Anyone who has tried it. Was also looking for a video on working out the retracts. Thanks
 F100CUFFLINK 916 points
this is larger because it is for a glider. it sets under the balanse point
knfevg  46 points - 4/4/2010

Can someone who installed it into a glider post a photo of the mounting?
 F100CUFFLINK 916 points
i dont have a pic but you may have to builld a frame to set it in or like a box square fram.
 parambir 7 points
I have mounted it on Easystar. I dont have a pic but have made a video of it. Hope it helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjgpMUisoqk

hello you want to know how to assemble video or some of its mounting
robert14  40 points - 12/27/2009

i orderd one fot my 1/5 scale ask14 glider. should al multiplex ms-11 BB servo (2.4kg) be enough? i have one here so i don't have to order a new servo.
 volrcr 68 points
Yes, that servo will be more than enough. Servo torque required to raise and lower the wheel of this assembly is very low, I estimate less than 10 inch/ounces or 0.7kg-cm.

The one dimension missing is the folded height. Anyone know? (Top of the wheel to the base of the frame)
 jhono 24 points
The folded hight is 46,5 mm

Wonder if this would work for the 1/10th scale p-35 I'm sketching out. Are the dimensions posted anywhere?
 -boot 212 points
Doh!! sorry I see them now.

does this gear kit bring the doors like the one that come on the CMpro ventus kit?
 jhono 24 points
No doors in the delivery
LeJongleur  283 points -

Based on the appearance of the video, I would think that a 9g servo like an HXT900 with 22oz/in of torque should be enough. If you have to go bigger, consider something like a Hitec HS-82MG with twice the torque but more expensive. From the video it appears to lock up or down so you won't need too much servo power.

What's the wheel diameter?
 Beaufighter 1808 points
Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but it is the scale wheel for a 2.6m Ventus-2HX (at least it is some info about scale...)
 magnusEl 1239 points
It looks like it`s printed "45mm" on the side of the wheel, like "12 a clock"...
 irish_lord99 189 points
Ha! Good eye! I didn't see that. Thanks.
 winggunner46 1 points
I am wondering if I could fit into a Radion Pro and perhaps A Phaze 3 model of a U-2.
Anyone have any experience doing that? would have to cut a hole in any case.
Thanks winggunner46

In the picture the look was fantastic. Real execution seems to be a bit wobbly. But still work great !
