as it appear it would be a hassle to fit the landing gear in it , you can still try but i suggest not to as it will need a servo as well and the room is too small to be able to install it .
if you are flying on sand or asphalt i would suggest if you add plastic stripe on the bottom easy and protective
yes you have two perforated squares that can be used with a servo and get the doors open any longer applied to remove the wheel, the truck is used for special monotraccia aircraft (rear wheel) or the gliders (wheel under belly or monotraccia)
I have received this wheel yesterday and my first impression... Wow this thing is bigger than I thought. Was planning to put it on my EZ*. Anyone who has tried it. Was also looking for a video on working out the retracts. Thanks
i orderd one fot my 1/5 scale ask14 glider. should al multiplex ms-11 BB servo (2.4kg) be enough? i have one here so i don't have to order a new servo.
Yes, that servo will be more than enough. Servo torque required to raise and lower the wheel of this assembly is very low, I estimate less than 10 inch/ounces or 0.7kg-cm.
Based on the appearance of the video, I would think that a 9g servo like an HXT900 with 22oz/in of torque should be enough. If you have to go bigger, consider something like a Hitec HS-82MG with twice the torque but more expensive. From the video it appears to lock up or down so you won't need too much servo power.

I am wondering if I could fit into a Radion Pro and perhaps A Phaze 3 model of a U-2. Anyone have any experience doing that? would have to cut a hole in any case. Thanks winggunner46
