What is the largest prop that can be safely used with this motor? Would the SF E-Prop 8x3.8 (OR001-00308A) be too much?

Ignore the bling, this is a soft motor - go for the silver 10g 2000Kv motor instead.

For this, max thrust on 2S I could achieve was:
GWS 7x3.5 7100rpm = approx 110g thrust
GWS 6x3 8200rpm = approx 105g thrust
GWS5x4.3 8100rpm
an 8x4 only reached 4700rpm

on 3S
GWS 6x3 10200rpm = approx 160g thrust
GWS 5x4.3 9600rpm

I purchased the Turnigy 1811 Brushless Indoor Motor 1800kv for my multiplex fox conversion. Fits on a treat and with great performance. Flight times in excess of 10 minutes with a 360mah 2s Rhino lipo. At this price you cant go wrong!

Very good motor for small plane, in Rhino 460mAh 2S Lipo is 6.2A with 6 in prop.

Got one for a small indoor plane (100g), this thing is really beautyful and works very true.

Using 6A Plush ESC, 7035 GWS prop and custom made 2S 240mAh lipos, it has much power. Combine them with 3 ARCED 3.7g digital servos, a corona 4 channel synth. receiver and you got a perfect combo !

Will buy a lot more of this serie !
