It will not work....how hard can it bee to understand that IT IS ONLY WORKING WITH ASSAN MODULE!!

MagnusE, Congratulations in posting the most rude reply I have ever read . Are you not aware that some manufacturers make statements that are not allways the complete truth.
 magnusEl 1215 points
Soory if you feel offended, i will stop posting replys like that....
But it is strange that the same Q comes up over and over again.
There is many replys that says " it is only working with assan module", dont you think that is the truthe?

Is there one of these mini recievers that will work with 9x V1 transmitter please

Hi again,
Does anyone know how does this system compare to the major brands in terms of speed?
Thanks!

Hi,
Does anyone know the minimum voltage that allows proper operation of the reciever?
 magnusEl 1215 points
I start to get some weird "mix funktion", (when i give throtel the elevator servo moves along) at ~3,4-3,5V, so that is probably the minimum voltage.
 sirfred 24 points
4 volts to much i burnt mine out on 4 volts you need 1 sell and 1 cell ESC to power it 3 volts

Hi
Can i use the rx with 1S Lipo or need i a 2S and UBEC?
 MegaTesla 576 points
Mine seems to work okay on 1S.
 sirfred 24 points
I'd say 1S and 3 volts from UBEC or ESC for i fried my X8 R4 4Ch 2.4GHz Receiver (Mini JST plug) with 4 volts now I'm waiting for another 1 to get here
MegaTesla  576 points - 7/11/2009

Can someone that received this please measure the distance between the plug pins. Is it 1.25mm or 1.5mm??
 MegaTesla 576 points
Pitch is 1.5mm if anyone still wants to know.
 sirfred 24 points
hi there the 1 i got the pins are 1.5mm apart

I think the jst connector from this harness kit will work. If so, use it to make your own adapters.

OOPS! It's not JST, it's Futaba micro. Forget I even mentioned that item, please.
 aeronot 112 points
Hello all. I have been using the micor JST now for lots of things. You can get the plug housings and pins from Digi-Key. Here are the part numbers.

servo lead housing: 455-1160-ND
pins for 26-28 awg: 455-1130-1-ND
pins for 28-32 awg: 455-1281-1-ND
female connector: 455-1658-ND

What is this piece of cable on the picture good for
 Neal T. 39 points
4/28/2009
The wire is the binding plug. Look at the setup carefully* lay the cable flat and you will see the terminal positions, black wire and red wire cross over and both connectors are same type so it is not used as an extension cable. This will connect 2 signal pins together which is the procedure for binding the receiver to your transmitter.

First of all, the listing of this item should come under 2.4Ghz Assan of the Product Categories instead of all receivers.

For it to be sellable, HC should stock up the mini jst plugs without which this item cannot be put to good use.
 Beaufighter 1808 points
I think it is meant as a reciever for those who already has mini jst on their equipment (some micro servos come with that as std)

Nowinkk,
Some ultra light models that are RTF have this mini JST connector. This Assan rx will allow you to change to 2.4GHz.

I have not located the mini JST connector in Hobby City servos yet. A wire with mini JST connector on one end and open wire on the other is available from Tower Hobbies thru Futaba (rather costly piece of wire* about $5). JR and Futaba currently have servos with the mini JST connectors. Some people also refer to this connector as a micro connector.

This JST connector might be available thru your local electronics store. You can also search the JST website <***********jst****/index.html> You will need to measure the pin separation referred to as the pitch and pin size.
JST is likely to be the source for connectors used in RC hobby.
Hope this helps you.

Could someone tell me the polarity of the
mini JST plug
Is it like standard "S+-" and can we plug in the standard servo connector, please.
 magnusEl 1215 points
The polarity is, from left to right looking at the pic above: positive (+), negative (-) and signal.
That is the same polarity as my BlueArrow 2,5g servo that i purchased from HobbyKing.
Jason  15 points -

the blue arrow 2.5 servos and the toki wire muscle servos will fit but you should check the polarity first
 magnusEl 1215 points
Toki muscle wire servo is deliverd without a plug.
davei3  17 points -

I would buy this rcvr if I could find servos with the mini jst plug. I looked thru all the servos* found no mention of this plug. Also went thru all the plug listing* and did not find this plug. davei

Very nice receiver, excellent build quality, there's only one little issue with it and it's that there's a mistake in the pin label on the back, there are two circles, black and red and a signal icon. Both the black and red circles have a "plus" symbol inside, follow the colours not the symbol for wiring.

2 thumbs up!
Greate little reciver. Weight as advertised, 2,8g. With removed shrink tube, glass fibre "stiffener" and the plastic conector seats the weight is down to 1,86g.
It does work with one LiPo cell, but below 3,5 v it starting to behave strange, and "mixes" throtel with elevator...
I would recomend to tape the antenna to the board to prevent it from coming loose.
Super reciver to use in shock flyers, and if you are using BA 2,5g servo it have the right conector. (1,5mm pitch)

Installed in electrified fox from multiplex. Excellent light receiver. Only one issue - can hobbycity have plugs for this receiver? I ordered from e-bay but be better if hobbycity have this in stock.
