How is this part used? Could someone provide a description of the parts required and product IDs? I have a Bixler pusher sailplane that I am looking to add landing gear to.
This stops are very easy to use and they are great. I am using them on a foamy landing gear. You take wheel axel, put one stop, tighten it. Then put wheel on and another stop and tighten it again. So you have wheel between 2 stops. Check of course the diameter of an axel so you get the stops of a right size. This particular one is for 3mm axel. Regards
These are basically act as stoppers for wheels. You have to install this once your wheel is in the axial. You may measure the size (diameter) the axial with a vernier caliper and then buy the exact or a size bigger to fit that axial. Hope this helps...
Imaging that you have a wheel for a plane. The plane wheel typically has a hole in the center. If you feed through a metal pushrod like item. You then secure the wheel and rod with one of these stop set collars to prevent it falling off.
as aJS32 said check the diameter of the rod, wheel and collar to make sure they match (otherwise you may have to start drilling)
