Ok. Thank you very much dude!

would recommend these connectors for 18 amp esc? thank you.
 fireball412 414 points
Yes, 18A is absolutely OK. For 20-80A I would use 4mm and for >80A 6mm connectors.

Thankyou so much

Will these work with a hextroniks 24 gram motor? Also will I have to put the female side on the esc or just leave the ones it has? Please Reply
 Ryan 112 points
they will definitively work with the 24 gram motor as for the esc most of the time they don't come with connectors so you can easily match the motor to the esc. If it does have connectors it usually says what type they are in the product description.

Are these the correct size to use for balancing hard pack "plug in" style lipos? The center pin I mean, not the 4mm main connections.
 Schorch 146 points
Yes, they are the correct ones for the balancer jack.
 jzzto 156 points
Using this battery as example: ZIPPY Flightmax 4000mAh 2S1P 30C hardcase pack There is a 4mm and the white plug* if it is the white one, you should use a balance lead from your connector to JST-XH* you will find them on Battery_Chargers_Acc_ -> Balance_Leads regards.-
 louigi600 218 points
Upto 30A these connectors will do fine ... if you need more current you might like to use bigger ones.
 FOSSAERT 10 points
Connecteurs de qualité , pour ma part je les est mis entre mes moteurs et variateurs et je n'est jamais eu de soucis ...
 Stephen 2 points
As per Schorch, yes they are designed for the center balance port on a 2 cell hard case Lipo. I have bought some from HK and they are perfect !

will these fit in the losi micro t?
 fireball412 414 points
yes they will. The current rating is sufficient as well.
 Mrudang 24 points
yes they will...i have used them and they work just fine

The will surly work but they will be a little oversice for the micro-t. They are the correct size for a mini-t.
Bilbobaker  14 points - 3/31/2012

These will handle 10 amps each leg right?
 EDWARD 71 points
I am using a lot of these handling from 6A ESC to around 30A ESC's, never had a problem. Ideal for up to 300W uses such as micro or indoor planes.
 TechnoFinder 126 points
no issues i even use this for a parkjet equipped with FC 28-12 Brushless Outrunner 1534kv
 nikomish 4 points
Yes!
 Gerben 520 points
The voltage is not the issue, the question is what kind of current you are planning to draw through these. Count on a maximum of about 10Amps.
Regards,
Gerben

Actually I tested 18 amps before they get warmt to the touch...but then the wire melted so I don't know where it would fail....
 Sarapintas 34 points
I use it with 22A max no prob.

I ordered this product one week ago and it is still in backorder. When it will be available? Thank you.
 Kris... 279 points
Can take up to 3 or 4 weeks sometime but dont worry they will turn up in the end i waited 2 months for mine.
 prateek 66 points
it takes time my friend ! i can feel your pain my order was also stuck but what i did was not to order them and use the ones from other motors/esc's
 Stig H. 6 points
I have been waiting for 23 days now - still there is hope they will turn up.
 fideliovienna 17 points
Yeah, so much to say "arriving every two weeks". Im waiting for them now since 28 days (also für the 4mm plug) and still both do not show up.
 rlmiller 5 points
They'll be available when HobbyKing gets them from the supplier. Unfortunately, that may be a week or two, or a month or two, you never know. If you need something right away, I always get it locally. If you can wait, the price difference may be worthwhile.
 Robinn 24 points
It is Available :D
 madruga 89 points
Some products are sold in a very large amount, when they are already sent to meet pending applications or are bought by customers on duty on the internet. make your request on backorder and when it arrives in stock you will be met with certainty
 rcsupercarz 9 points
It will be available when they have in stock. If you dont want to wait, visit your local hobby shop.
 3D Romeo 54 points
It's in stock right now...or at least it was when it reserved it in my last order.
 David 2 points
I'm still waiting for them myself
 Chin Keat 82 points
it is available now, quickily grap it before it is backorder again.
 GooberSB 24 points
You can "watch this item" and get an email sent when they arrive in stock. BUT, since popular items sell out very quickly, you could always place an order for these items and nothing else. It will go on backorder and won't ship until the items come in but at least you will be in the queue to get some first. That's what the -15 or -21 numbers are: that many orders are placed for an item on backorder and will be filled first before anybody else gets to order any.

Any alternative to this kind of plugs at hobbyking.com?
 thunderchicken 90 points
only the 3.5 mm . fatter but much shorter installed length .
 Brenda 11 points
Depend on what your using them for. If its on a battery you could use a deans, ec3, or xt60,or any of hk other connectors. but if you are using it for the esc or motor you coul can only go bigger or smaller for bullet connectors their pretty much all the same.
crafter  80 points - 5/25/2010

Hi HC,

The diameter of these connectors is good, but lengthwise it's too long. Besides these, will you be stocking the shorter 2mm type, like those supplied with the Turnigy T1811 class motors? Those are nice and compact in tight spaces. I can get the shorter ones locally but it would be nice to see them here are well.
 tommo85 142 points
Yes i agree that they are unnecessarily long. Nice solid firm fit though.
 GRAHAM 168 points
Agreed. I want to set-up a micro plane. Have bought 14dia motors. these plugs take too much room, and are too much weight. will now have to solder motor to esc.
heyya  190 points - 4/23/2010

What's with the price of this one?

EC3 connector, same quanity, with plastic housing (absolute necessity for reverse polartiy protection, and inadvertant short) is selling for same price? You could at least provide platic shell for this price.
 rafmos 1657 points
I think it is besouse they are good selled. A lot of people like theese.

This is gold man....
DiF0r  128 points - 9/12/2009

I love these small gold connectors and use them in all my rc cars! I think it's safer to use connectors like this and not the switches that come in with transmitters/recivers

Very good connectors, not the best on the market, but still very usefull. Contact resistance (measured on 5 connectors) is 1 mOhm average (plus/- 0.1 mOhm). I would not go much over 10 A with this connectors.

those 2mm plugs are rated for 10A in laboratory use. This should translate to something between 20 and 40A for us modellers.
I do recommend these plugs as they are light and have a snug fit.

I am using these connectors almost a year now. They are still like brand new, with no warps or bendings.
They are also very easy to solder them.
Buy them with confidence at a fraction of the price taht you will pay at a street shop
