ok can some one please help me out. What charger can i use to charge this battery? I want to get something cheap to charge it such as the Turnigy-3S - Turnigy balancer & Charger 2S-3S but its my first time so i need alittle help
I use this charger: HKX-Charger I've found it extremely usefull not only for LiPo batteries, but for all other types as well. Troubleshooting a car battery is much easier with this, for example.
If you are happy with 12v input only then look at the following* Turnigy Accucel 6 (Will require a charge lead). Imax B6 (Leads inc). HK Eco6 (Leadsinc). Hobbyking E4 (No leads required). 12/240v Input* Turnigy 2/3s.this has a fixed charge rate of 650mah so limits it a bit (No leads required). B6-AC Plus (With leads). Hobby King Simplex (With leads).
if you are new to lipos and chargers i would use something like this "Turnigy 2S 3S Balance Charger"
it may take a bit longer to charger larger batteries but its very simple to use and you dont have to fiddle with settings and its cheap
Bateria com boa descarga! Ótima relação em custo benefÃcio! Para quem está usando motorização para esta faixa de bateria, não precisa de mais!
Recomendada!
Perhaps you want a battery with more capacity because most transmitters have room for much bigger battery packs than this one. Try to find a 2000-2500 mAh pack that is as long and narrow as possible.
Purchased two of these recently not seeing the JST plug. Wires are thinner than the same pack 1300mah with a deans plug. Can I replace JST plug with a deans and still be ok?
If everything else matches, including the discharge rate..... be careful. i see this time to time, same batteries, but because the battery values can be used for slow flyers or parkjets, you get two different ends with different guage wire. If you're going from the larger deans to the smaller JST your GOOD as long as its the same battery specs then what you've already used. But putting a slowflyer jst battery with thin wires and going to a thicker deans might get the thin wire just a little warm
elder, Diffrent batches of these batteries come with diffrent plugs on them. Sometimes they have Deans somtimes JST and somtimes the Yellow bullet connectors. You can buy the connector you want at you local hobby shop and solder it on. just make sure that you put on and - on -.
can I use this or other LiPo-s in my transmitter instead of 8AA batteries? the voltage is lower, amperage isn't really required by a transmitter... would it be ok?
is your transmitter set up for lipo use? IE do you if it has the low voltage cut off or not. Also I know of some people using lipos in their transmitters with really bad results, the best thing would be a NIHM battery for the transmitter.
8xAA non-rechargeable batteries is 12volts total. 8xAA rechargeable batteries is 10 volts total. This battery is rated 11.1v but is 12.6 volts when fully charged. If your TX is made for non rechargeable batteries , you are OK.If your TX is made for rechargeable batteries, don't use a 3s Lipo.
Has anyone tried this battery on a Trex-250? I Heard it fits but wonder how tight it is and what kind of modifications to the canopy or placement might be necessary.
I got one of these for my 250 will not fit even with the yellow lightining canopy unless you move the canopy supports. I ordered the Rino 1050mah30c 3mm. shorter and 2mm. thinner someone in the review says it fits. I'm using 750mah20c Rino's and 800mah20c Flightmax's they give 5.5 min. flights. The Rino's seem to hold full power to the end. Flightmax seem to drop off slightly during the last min. or so. Will write a review on the 1050 when I get it.
Hi! Mine weighs 92 grams with 3.5mm gold bullet connectors and velcro installed. I think it weighed 86g as advertised without the velcro and connectors.
Very good battery with plenty of power. Use it on a foamy of around 500 grams. You can do 3D. I am using this on a towerpro combo with 2409-18T and 25 amps ESC

35 thumbs up!
I buyed 2 units to try.
-These cells are overrated by 10pcnt. -After 3 cycles C/D to break at 1C:
Best charge: lipo 1: 911Mah lipo 2: 923Mah
Best discharge: lipo 1: 899Mah lipo 2: 901Mah
They seems to be a good&strong battery for aplications about 15-18A at a unbateable price.
Good deal!!

18 thumbs up!
Cheapest battery i have ever bought. I got 3 packs with cca 40 cycles each and works like new. I use them in 420g 3D foamie with 200W motor (max 18A, 6,5A average). Flying allways on time limit and after flight I charge about 700-800 mAh. Same power during whole flight.... no fade at the end of flight. 100pcnt satisfaction :-)
