This is very interesting to me. Forgive my newbness, but how does biowire work exactly?
 RoBo_Guy 225 points
A couple of things I have heard about to be aware of with these servos: 1. Rough handling will ruin them - do not force the servo to move other than the normal electrical input. 2. They are not as fast as electromechanical servos we are used to. 3. Repetitive motion can slow them down. to know more watch the video below - www.link

Is this the newer faster version??
 viflyer 91 points
I will ASK AGAIN! Is this the newer faster, better centering version??? Think HC can check with Toki and find out?

I suspect this is the older version since I can't get a reply??

The never version is available on line in the US for $32.-

Bought it in the states from Air MidiMicro. Look at their video of the NEW version along side the OLD version. You WANT the new version.

If HC can tell me what version the remaining 41 ARE, I will order some more with my next HC order

I had the same problem. The best way for me was to solder the wires to reciver, behind the connectors, under the cover. It's quite easy and light *)

Does hobby city have the mini jst connjectors for the $pektrum ultra mini little reciever? I can't seem to find any...
 keshets 53 points
you can use the "JR & $pektrum Remote Receiver Extension Wire 60 & 90cm", just cut and soldier the mini just connector that comes with it.

63 thumbs up!
made a very light plane for "inRoom" flying with the HXT 5g Motor the Biowire servo (on the rudder) and 2 3g Servos.
No Problems with Graupner TX and multiple RX. Performs very exactly and fast.

Nice light servo,
You need good soldering skills to add mini JST's to the lead's if using with AR6300 RX. Have tested on corona & spekron RX with signal cell 100mah and 1gr BL controller with both 2gr & 4.6gr motors and they work well.
They didn't like being mounted on their side as they didn't centre well, but when mounted flat the centring is good.
Overall 4 stars :- good very light servo.

11 thumbs up!
I built a 30g EPP-foamie with the HXT 5g Motor, 1gr BL controller and a single 180mAh Lipo. The servos are a bit on the weak side for such a fast plane. I will try to "balance" the rudder-surfaces (adding more surface in front of hinge-line) to reduce the force needed. The servos seem very rugged for such a tiny construction.

10 thumbs up!
I fly 3 of these in a 25g Depron 3D plane with the 4,6 g motor and 1s 180mAh. The servos are performing flawlessly. Speed and centering are good for the seize. I can even torque with this setup. Operation is very smooth. Best of all there wil be no jittering with time and wear as there is nether motor or pot involved
