you certain this has 120 degrees?- as most are 90 degrees- do you have this to test it?- really important to know for certain- I appreciate your support!
Actually, they are strong but too slow for CCPM heli if you going to do some 3D. I'm using 2pcs of the 9150MG on my RC Car 1/8 size. It's better to find faster servo for your heli. You can watch some tests (not mine) on youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=ViK6Mr7n5UM
Don't forget to press "thanks" button! ;o)
Sorry you broke your servo m8. I cant find any spare parts for it in the shop either. For 28 bucks I would just by a new one if I was you... I mean can you really trust it will not brake again and maybe crash you model...
if you're worried this might turn out to be one of those extra large servos in size, no it's not. it's just the (small) standard size good enough for giant airplane specially rudder
I also have twitching on 5 cell NIMH packs, freshly charged and reading 7.2 volts with no load on most of my Futaba and HT servos. You might try using a Life pack at 6.6 volts full charge and see what happens with it?
I got 5 of these and all of them are showing glitches. The servos twitch maybe 1mm every few seconds. I have checked the receiver/radio and also same thing happens when i test it with servo tester. Any suggestions?
I ordered 3 Power HD 9150 servos "#HD-9150MG/6334 Digital metal gear servo 60g/15.8kg/.17sec" but received 3 Turnigy servos! Thats not what I payed for! Are these rebranded Power HD servos or a copy of unknown quality
Guys, im looking to buy servos for my 30% yak 54. I want all out 3d, meaning maximum control surface deflection. The more deflection used, the more acurate the servo has to be. I will be using 2 on the elevator, 2 on the ailerons, possible two on the rudder, or 1 bms champoin servo on the rudder. I want to know how these compare to the BMS Super strong digital 630 in acuracy. Im not too big on using a lot more torque than I need bcause i share my rx pack with the ignition system. So I want to know if the bms would be better for acuracy and effieciancy. Im thinking the bms have to run more efficiant with that heat sink vs the HD-9150MG puting out more torque and speed and not having a heat sink and can't beatbthe price in the BMW for under 22 usd. Also any one know if they use a corless motor?
Hey Jude Using these servo's for a while now in a 106cc Extra, full on 3D no problems. These are fantastic servo's. Check out Flying Giants forum for details. Cheers Paul
I am using this servo on the rudder of my 27% Yak 54 50cc Have also the ds120 m on the elevator and ailerons will be switching to the 9150s as they come in stock The vibration of My Brillelli 60 cc has not affected the servo in any way.
Why would you want to use without a regulator?? most receivers don't recommend 2s lipo... so why would anyone want to use more voltage than 4.8 or 6 volt Ni-cd or Ni-mh flight battery.
In my 2.6m Krill Katana, I´ve used the DS9900 Dymond servo directly at 7.4V. Unfortunately, the elevators began to shimmy despite the strong servo.
I exchanged the elevator servos with this 15.8kg servo. And, all I can say is that this was the solution of the problem. It has enough power for a 2.6m Acro-Plane. Fast and centers very good.
I can recommend this servo for bigger planes. You don´t have to buy expencive Hi*ec ones.
Perfect, thank you Hobbycity!!

Had to give it a try. It's a good bit deeper (taller) than a standard size but not too much. The gears are stout and the innards are well laid out with pretty good support. There's very little slop and while there is a bit of over-shoot when the when the servo makes a high speed return to center, it's not bad and the centering is quite good. For the price, it's a great high strength servo!

Great servos for the price. Very similar to the towerpro ones. Little problems with centrering on 5 and 6 volts but tryed directly on 2 lipo and no problems after flight little worm on this voltage but after 50 flights everything is ok. servo on 2 lipo: - can handle about 17,2 kg mesured with special servo meter - the speed is .15 sec - take up tu 2 amps on maksimum torque
