will work fine but should be sufficient enough

larger diameter props develop more thrust. My only reservation withthese wellbuilt props is som are heavier than others and the majority need balancing before use. the heavier props develop a flywheel effect that can drom top end revs on an engine by up to 1000 rpm ie down from 10000 to 9000/8800 rpm. Aeroplane still flys and performs well at the lower revs ok on asports model, not a racer.

Is it good for electrics?
 perpetualrepair 31 points
It says a sport prop and looking at it I would say no. the APC style props are electrics.

Rubbush, I run these on a 1000kzk turnigy and i run the 12x6 through to 14x6 on the same motor.
Unless you actually now dont just write something because you can. its not helpful

These are not electric props! Of course you can run anything you want on an electric motor, but I would suggest you check the efficiency of these GLO/gas props compared to APC or other prop designed specifically for electric motors.

I find the condescending arrogance and IGNORANCE of your comment very interesting, ha!

Now there's a really helpful person, Thankyou so much Spitfire for pointing out my ignorance. you are obviously a well educated and knowledgeable individual, as evidenced by your spelling. I bow to your superiority. Viflyer has a more valid opinion Claudio.

They run fine on electic motors. There are lots of advantages to running these propr over an apc prop. The only reason they are better suited to Gas is for weight. The are stronger, the prop hole is close to whats required. If you attempt to open up a 13x6 apc for example to suite a 5mm or 6mm shaft you will most probably ream it off centre ruining the prop. Its a good all rounder IMHO. If you talking about Efficiency than most probably GWS is better than APC in some regards.

OH here we go spellign police. Sorry i'll bow out now. LOL

Of course you would have to do real world comparisons/tests of the THIS prop with similar size electrics, but in general APC and other electric props are designed to be lighter and more efficient than robust props designed for glo and gas.

I would suggest you run APC or the electric wood props in this size range. In the smaller size planes the GWS HD props have proven to be VERY efficient.

Excellent prop, very efficient and far more durable than APC.
Using this prop on an ASP 91 4stroke on a Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk. Excellent combination. Will be ordering more of these for sure.
