The wheel has a strong brushed finish alloy hub which is made from 1 piece lathed aluminium. The rubber appears to be of excellent quality and has an increasing resistance when compressed as it has a foam insert for cuishioning.
These are an excellent looking wheel and will last long enough for you to pass them on to your grandchildren.
Excellent quality and a solid light weight design.
They are fairly firm but soft enough to absorb some of the landing shock. I fly off a hard runway and found them to be very good with no excessive bounce or wear.
I maust have had the last of them. I have to say they are very good and show next to no sign of use even after dozens of landinging on a paved runway, which as distroyed foam tyres on the same model in half a sesson. I do hope they have stock soon so you can enjoy them as well.
Hi. Does this whellwould fit as a replacement for my Fun Cub tail wheel? I'm looking for something a bit stronger and tougher than the original but not to heavy.. Thanks
Note: Last time I bought them they used to come as pairs, they are now being sold as single wheels and it is not clear in the description, am stuck with some odd wheels now!
They are not rubber, they are foam that has been vulcanised on the outside to appear like rubber, may not wear well on sealed runways.
Hubs are nicely machined on the outside, appear to be from castings. Good quality overall.

Only 23g per wheel for this size strong as this. Good elasticity. Nylon hub adaptors 2,5-3-4 and for 5mm axles.

I had some doubts, because of the weight. On the site it says 63 grams a piece. I've weighted the 2,5" wheels and they are indeed 23 grams a piece. On the picture the aluminum is gray colored. Mine are gold colored. There is a printing on the side, which says <2.50">. Great product, low cost. The way i like 'm )
