Great motor mount,
BECAREFUL it only fits towerpro 2410** and 2408**
NOT 2409** motors
You can also use it with hexTronik 24gram Brushless Outrunner
All above motors fit the mounts 8mm hole
It wont also fit AX 2306N 1300kv brushless Micro Motor which mount hole diameter is 9mm
Towerpro 2409** motor need 10mm diameter mount
Nice flights in perfect Greek blue sky!

The inside diameter of the mount is approx 0.312". It will accept a 2408-21 motor, but it is too small to accept a 2409-18, which has an outside diameter of approx 0.395". The length of the mount (in the direction of the stick mount) is only 0.400". When mounted on the stick, this dimension is really too short to provide stable alignment with the stick because the alloy mount can "wiggle" on the stick.

This mount worked great on my old Slow Stick with the aluminium tube fuselage, but is too tight for the new Slow Stick with the fibreglass fuselage.

Although some aspects of this item could be improved, it does what it is intended to do and is pretty lightweight.
I've used several of these aned I had no problems with the fit as I cut a stick out of hardwood to match.
When I did have one that was a loose fit, instead of using screws I just used a small hot glue gun to heat the alloy up then injected hot glue in through the side holes, it was very secure and no chance of the wood splitting.
However, the clamp could be more secure as the cooling fins bend if you over-tighten them and the motor will escape if they aren't quite tight enough.
I'm still giving it 5 stars as without it mounting this type of motor to sticks would be very difficult.
