I need to be able to reverse the throttle so that it will work with my esc correctly. I have seen that noircogi has been able to but i cannot reply to their message. So can anyone tell me how to reverse the throttle on this control? Any help is much appreciated :)
Hi there, to reverse the throttle, go into the servo reverser setting, select the channel # your esc is plugged into on your receiver. Then once you are under the correct channel #, change the "NOR" setting to "REV". This changes direction of the throttle and brake.
Credit me if this helps, thanks mate!
I have a couple of the GTX3/GT3B remotes and these remotes have to be the best for the price. Digital display and a long range for under $40. Nice to know that another company sell the same product.
All receivers can handle 6 volts. The ratings for the servos are most important to a higher voltage system. High voltage servos are rated higher than 6 volts. Normally, 7.4 volts. The servo motor's life will be significantly decreased if using a higher voltage, but the servo will still work, temporarily.
I just don't want to wait forever if they are actually discontinued.. How long does it usually take hobbyking to get the stuff in ?
Also, to bind this TX to additional receiver can I bind it to HKR3000 without using a bind plug?
Thanks,
Ryan
I just received the GTX3 and I am trying to use it with a HobbyKing 120a ESC I have steering but no throttle. I am definitely using channel 2 and have tried rebinding it. The ESC and servo work fine with my other radio. Please help.
Just bought 2 of these Turnigy GTX3 radios and 2 HobbyKing GT-2. I will use 8 AA NiMH 1.2v 2200mah batteries in each radio, I need the optional wall charger (for United States)that will charge them in the transmitter. Is it for sale on HobbyKing?
what type of rc car radio can i use with my aio head tracking goggle i tryed alot of radio and cant find one thats works with head tracking i know fpv is for flying but i want to use it for my t-maxx 3.3 truck
my aio goggle head tracking want work with my turnigy gtx3 and if i can,t use my turnigy gtx3 for fpv on my rc truck then what radio and receiver can i use for fpv on a rc truck
i have aio fpv goggle and i,am trying to use my turnigy gtx3 radio for head tracking but when i plug my trainer cable to the dsc port the head tracking work but all the other function don,t work no steering no throttle how can i fix the problem
I know the description says it has a 12v charging port but rechargeable NiMH are 1.2v. Can I buy a 12vDC ac adaptor to charge 1.2v NiMH batteries with the controller without any problems?
It has a standard transmitter-style charging port. I installed NiMH batteries in mine. They work fine and you can charge them using that connector with either a trickle charger or a smart-charger with an NiMH mode.
I got just this today. Plugged everything in(upgraded from radio). Power light comes on but nothing works. I've even tried rebinding it, still nothing.
Won't let me write a review in the review block even though I have purchased this radio. Anyway, here goes...This is a rebadged GT3B and works just as well as the 3b did. For the features and price it doesn't come close to value comparison of a Spektrum or Futaba, those of you long enough in the hobby and you new commers can see this superb. I am running this radio with two different Baja 5bs ( KM 260s) and this radio does not dissapoint. The fail safe is super easy to set and the range of the radio exceeds my needs ( I ran this radio on my 5b at the college football field and no issues, additionaly 2.4 worked flawless). You can go mainstream and by the Spektrum or Futaba but why, gives this computer radio a shot. Lastly, you need extra receivers for this radio because it has a 10 model memory so purchase HK-GT2_RX
Yes it will. I had one extra receiver (flysky) and used it with this radio. Fail safe works flawlessly and can be set very easy. Goto youtube search bind gt3b and your set. GTX3 and Gt3b bind exactly the same way.
Thanks I have a flysky its a little damaged but still works but thinking of buying the turnigy just did not want to have to buy extra recievers. Thanks again
Does this TX/RX need to be set in reverse on the throttle channel (like Futaba) with the 120A Waterproof ESC. Or since it OEM have you switched that? Thanks.
It looks like the Hobby King GT-2 2.4Ghz Receiver 3Ch is compatible. It shows up on the accessories tab when you choose the GTX3 on the global warehouse page.
What Kind Of Battery do you need to run the reciver? i bought a Turnigy 2S 5200MAH battery. I also bought a HobbyKing Brushless Car ESC 45A w/ Reverse. will the reciver work with the ESC i hanvnt got the ESC yet. Thanks
Your receiver will run off the car ESC. No need for an additional battery. Just plug the car pack into the ESC, plug the ESC into the correct channel 2 port, and you are all set for power.
I soldered on a regular Deans connector and used the Turnigy battery and it is fantastic. Just have to watch your voltage. My radio has a built in LVA that lets me know when I am close to 9v.
actually you can use any of the receivers that bind with the Turnigy 9x too...you only get 3 channels though. I used my extra 6channel receiver when my ground receiver got wet.
i have two of these and they are great, i got one for a back up and i have to say its just as good as the name brand 3channels

Received mine with a faulty screen froze/stuck showing different options when powered on. I was able to steer and throttle, but not able to change any functions due to LCD screen issue not working properly. seems comfortable with limited use, can use a 3s 1000 to 1500mah 15 to 20c. Receiver is tiny very nice. Going to be sending this back to USA warehouse for a replacement since its faulty right out the box. To bad looks to be a real nice radio system when its working properly.

Opened box installed batteries, but was not able to use screen functions. Sent it back and they are sending me a replacement, total wait time about 14 days thats shipping to the USA warehouse should be in by the end of the week. Great RMA experience. The feel is very comfortable, seemed to work well even without the screen working (froze). Will leave a full review once the replacement gets here.

So far I am loving this radio. I am using with with my Team Associated SC10 2WD. Such a huge improvement over the stock TA transmitter. Tons of bang for the buck.
