1000m with a spironet antenna were with me no problem. Are you turned on the transmitter even without aerial? Then he would be defective and only takes a few meters. Or you have chosen the wrong channel at the receiver. If you, for example, a channel adjacent to the Entfä*nger lying, you're looking at the 400mw still receiving, but only until you are 50-60m away. then the superposition is no longer sufficient and the receiving tears off.
Thanks Christian, this solved my issue too. Looks like the factory channel (1) is set differently to older stock (8), so pays to double check. Don't just assume that when you get a good picture during setup that the RX & TX are on the same channel.
This is an excellent product from all I have read. The power output exceeds the stated power rating of 400mw, coming up to 500mw on some channels... Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available at the UK warehouse. Please HK... UK warehouse needs some of these.
