This vtx is rated 7-14v. A fully charged 4s runs at 16.8v (4x4.20v) so, clearly, it isn't recommended that you connect direct to the battery. To do this use an appropriate bec or, as I have, a voltage step-down board, these are very small, very cheap these days and weigh next to nothing. They can also be finely adjusted to deliver precisely the voltage you require.
i need to bypass the tx's power output cos mine frind from using multiple cameras, i use 2 - 3 cams per aircraft i fly and they use up to 450Mah of power to run the cameras in total so how do i bypass to run all those ccds cameras? all sony sduper had II 600tvl - 700tvl and a remzibi osd, all being used in the bix 2 also im thinking about a aditional lipo for the fpv system so what one should i get - i want to stay light though
