Yes but it's easier to program than waiting sequecies of beep, god was it 2 or three beeps I heard ?
It's almost like to reinvent the wheel instead of buy it. Each one can chose even if both solutions exists.
Most of the time I use turnigy programmig card for plush ESC and it takes me about 20 seconds to program and check settings on these ESC. I don't think you can beat it with up/down throttle sticks.
However it's not for myself and Multistar ESC is already in use.
I totally agree with you, I've got one of those cards myself. I just wanted to make sure that you are not waiting month after month because you didn't know about alternative ways to configure these ESCs. If you've got the card, it's quicker than the beep codes. If you haven't got the card then beep codes are quicker than waiting for the delivery man *-)
Hi dude, most of the time these cards are transmitter replacement operation so they don't give you more option than you get with your Tx sticks but only easier, secure and fasert process. However on the turnigy Multistar manual(available under files tab) there are neither factory reset nor start mode speed. User's guide reports only "acceleration" aka Throttle management with High/ Medium/ Slow. It seems to be normal way for these ESC as they are'nt designed for BL Helis which use these settitng(start mode). Thnks for reading.
Ok, I must add this card programming and the manual are'nt equal. But, I think if you need to use BL Heli functions you may own V2 multistar then this products could be helpfull : Turnigy Multistar USB BLHeli Programmer For V2 Multistar ESC (Product ID : 9351000056-0 ). Hope it helps.
