These settings worked very well for me until iIflashed the ESC's with SimonK firmware which is really the best thing to do if you want the best performance
Thanks, DJ. The ESCs I have are the little 10Amp ones which are really tiny and Im not sure if the Socket programmer fits onto them, but yes I will flash them if the tool fits.
But can I ask: Why set the battery to NIxx?
set the battery to NIxx to take out the low voltage cut off, you don't want your multirotor to fall from the sky if the battery is running low. that is why you set the ESC to NIxx and install a low voltage alarm like this one: www.link
I use the following on my Multistar 20a OPTO ESC's on my quad
Cutoof www.link tip, if you find a motor is spinning the wrong direction, you can remove all the jumpers on the card and just put one on the lower left (Direction) pins and re-program the ESC.
It will beep twice and keep on repeating but I just let it go for a few times then removed power
My motor then spun the opposite direction, no cable changes required (mine are inside the arms)
If you are using Opto's you will need to supply 5v to the top left connector of course
