No, not with its original shaft, becuase of the taper to 2.3mm.But you could if you replaced it and use a 3mm collet spacer and 3mm shaft . That is what im going to use on my new shaft. The 2.3mm taper makes it easy to bend on the slightest prop hit. Im tired of straightening it out. And the little C-clip falls off. So ill replace it with the collet and 3mm shaft.
If you want to use this motor for example in easy star or bixler kind of model, it would fit. It is indeed pusher in that sense. However, keep in mind that with this rpm/kv you will fry your ESC like I did if you only put original propeller. This motor is rather for EDF or small prop applications then 7x4 or similar.
I noticed other versions of these 26-xx turnigy motors come with motor mounts, but since they're different size than the normal ones used for 28-xx & so many others, I don't know which to use.....
Can someone please post a link to the appropriate accessories pack, or motor mount used for this motor please?
U can actually use the standard aluminum mounts that most 28xx motors use, & the only difference with these is that all 4 holes are setup for the inner holes of those mounts.....so Ijust drilled out the other 2 further holes, & haven't had any problems.....
Also, I swapped out the shafts in these for the.3mm x 45mm replacement shafts for one of the ntm motors that only cost $1.10 each, & they work great! I would recommend finding a different shaft that's just slightly though (3mm x 50mm * least), since the 3mm x 45mm didn't leave me much to attach a prop adapter.....
But it does work with no problems so far!
Hi new to HK. Well I bought this motor back in 8/2012. And it still looks the same and same description. I tried to add an update to my review, but the server whent down. The jerking was a weak solder on the wire, my fault. Resoldered , and this motor is awesome. I run it on 2 cell nanotech 20- 50 C batterries and a turnigy 55Amp trust ESC . Wow ! Good motor. It does not come with anything, just motor. But still a great deal. Hope it helps.
Its NOT 3.175mm down to 2.3mm.....its 3mm the entire length of the motor, & then is 2.3mm where u attach the prop.....seems strange they did that, but I've already put in standard ntm 3mm replacement shafts into mine, & it works like a charm

I've had this motor without testing it for a while. I finished my project cub, and tried motor on the table. Gets very jerky on start up, to 1/16 throttle.after that point it lights up to life. not very good quality. Not worth the hazzle to return for warranty. So I'll oil up bearings and run it until it Dies !! Or it straightens out. Tried my 10 × 6 prop, too big gets hot. 6 × 5.5 prop runs cool . So I think I'll get a 7 × 5 or 7×6 should be good. I'll write a review when I maiden the plane, and keep you posted. And it's a 2.3 mm shaft diameter.

Its been a while and I can safely say I must retract my old review .the reason the motor didnt act right was my Fault, weak solder. I resoldered my connections and the motor is Awesome! !!!!!! My combination is turnigy 55 amp trust ESC , 2 cell turnigy nanotech lipo 1600 mah 25 -50 C. and 7X5.5 pusher prop. My plane is an Airhogs Titan converted to rc. With this motor combo, It is great, the motor pushes it straight up, like a rocket.the key to this motor is the battery C rating, this motor ispowerfull, and 20 C lipo holds it back. Highly recommend. Great job HK.
