Walkera QR Ladybird Ultra Micro Quadcopter RTF (Mode 1)
Finally a ready to fly micro quadcopter that requires no setup or tuning. Just charge the batteries and fly!
The Walkera QR Ladybird features leading edge technology including a 6-axis gyro stabilization system making this micro quad ultra stable. Normally, building and setting up of a quadcopter requires lots of time, tuning and having to choose your own power system/components. The Ladybird takes away all of the complicated setup and makes it as easy as opening the box, charging the batteries and flying!
The Ladybird is very capable with plenty of power to spare. In normal mode, it's stable flight characteristics make it stress-free for the less experienced quad pilot. Switch it to aerobatic mode and it's very responsive for those looking to push it to it's limits. When in aerobatic mode, the responsiveness is greatly increased which allows for flips, rolls and loops to be performed!
From basic flying to amazing quad aerobatics, the QR Ladybird does it all. All this and it's still small enough to fit in the palm of your hand!
The Ladybird comes completely ready to fly with the Walkera 2402D 2.4gHz transmitter included. The 2402D features an easy to read backlit LCD display and is very ergonomic. This package also includes the flight battery, USB dual battery charger and spare propellers.
Features: 6-axis gyro stabilization system Ultra stable flight characteristics Aerobatic flight mode allowing for flips, rolls and loops Compact and lightweight design Ready to fly including 2.4gHz transmitter

Total newb question. How long does the 2402D TX normally last on 8 * AA 2400mAh (Turnigy LSD) batteries? I am finding it only lasts 15 mins before the voltage drops. Something does seem right with the TX running out of juice even before the ladybird. Hope someone can help. Thanks.
i want to buy Walkera QR Ladybird Ultra Micro Quadcopter RTF (Mode 1).... 89.99$ is its charge...and what about shipping cost and custom charges........i m frm india......kindly mail me final charge.........
Walkera QR Ladybird Hi, does anyone know what could be the problem, will not bind with the 2402D transmitter. Red LED just keeps flashing on Ladybird & have new battery in the Ladybird & transmitter only had for a week before it happened.
HK would unlikely to offer you a warranty return on this. However you can buy new motor boom assembly with the product codes PRODUCT ID: 198000011 and PRODUCT ID: 198000010. The assembly come in clock wise and counter clock wise so make sure you get the right one by checking rotation or you manual.
Anyone know what lipo battery I can use as a spare? Will this work Turnigy nano-tech 950mah 1S 25~50C Lipo Pack (Fits Walkera V120, X100) Is the X100 this laby bird quady?

You are looking for these Turnigy nano-tech 260mAh 1S 35-70C Lipo Pack (QR Ladybird/Genius CP/Mini CP) (PRODUCT ID: 9210000070). These are better than the stock Lipo and they have the correct connector on them. I have 5.
Look in the manual. There is a section about the gyro. Locate the gyro and turn the gyro screw (with the special screwdriver in box) counter clock wise (I think,, double check with manual), that will desensitize the gyros, turning all the way will tun them off. After doing that, try those flips:). Remember to fly up high for the first one, once you've done one you will know how much altitude it looses in a flip, and can try them lower:). Good luck!
First, turn the transmitter on. Make sure the ladybird is unplugged and move the throttle stick to full throttle. Plug in the ladybird and move the elevator stick up and down about 4 times, the light on the ladybird should turn green. Last, set the throttle back to zero and your all set. Have fun.
Unfortunately, this video is not available in Germany because it may contain music for which GEMA has not granted the respective music rights.
What is meant by 6 axis is XYZ stabilisation for the gyro and XYZ stabilisation for the ACC ( auto levelling function used in stable mode). In multicopter flight controller speak 6 DOF or six degrees of freedom. To fly aerobatics, the ACC is on a switch channel (according to the instructions) to deactivate it and just have the 3 axis gyro working.
Stable out of the box vios66, calibration and radio set up is all done in the factory, just charge the battery and fly. I should say batterie(s) because your going to want spares, these things are just too much fun!
paddock-flyer these are great to learn with! they are so easy to fly. It can be setup in a standard mode (default) or an aerobatic mode once your skills improve, We will also have a full range of spare parts available in the next couple of days.
RattleSnake, in some cases you may be correct, but in the case of the Ladybug I'm afraid you are mistaken. This little quad is as locked in and stable as some of the 500 size quads I have flown! It really is rather amazing!
yes i can speak the same. I have a 28'' scratch built quad.."Youtube=Eastcoast78" *0)
So i pretty good with it, fianlly getting fas forward flight etc.
My Frind has the ladybird, from a diff vendor.
I flew it a few times. Within 2 minsi was doing 4x rolls form about 25ft unreal i was amazined how easy this flys.
So after i had a flight with my Big quad and i found it easier for some reason.
I really think having the colors Props on the rear motors helps aswell.
Ive always fly with the "Coloured Props" on the forward ones. For me the rear coloured props help it flying quads easier for orientation. So much so ive changed the props on mine. coloured on the rear!!
IMHO this is a great First quad...and its duable as a "bag of chips" hahah
I so want one of these...cant afford it ..im poor!
Indeed, just picked one up for Chrissy as an intro to multirotors. She has a reasonable grasp on 4 chan coaxes now so I figure if she can mange this then she can start using my quads and see if it's going to be her thing.
Who needs $pektrum bind n fly guys! the walkera dmss tx series is a great radio
plus this lady bird includes a build in telemetry, all you need is S series devo Tx
and if you seen the walkera's new micro quad n heli range i think its worth it to get new S series devo Tx
I hope HK will stock them devo S series Tx's soon
Thanks HK for giving us a great hobby gear range at very affordable price!!
Excellent petit quadri. La ladybird est nerveuse et tres stable, des mon premier vol ce fut un plaisir de la piloter

Purchased the ladybird, charged supplied battery, flew spot on straight out of the box with only minor forward trim. however on my second flight a CW motor failed, luckely no damage was sustained. But rendered the model unuseable until replacement arrives.Time will tell if this is going to be a common fault with this as I notice all the CCW units have been sold since I ordered a spare set of each.

Excellent product. It is extremely stable it flyes the 8 minutes the box says. You have to treat her like a Lady as the brushed motors are very sensitive and if you crash too often, you will damage the brushes of the motor. I would say for sure anyone with good will of flying will do it with no problems. This is my first quad experience and Im very satisfyed with it.
I think if HK could offer upgrades to implement Brushless motors, they will for sure have a lot of orders for them. I ordered some of the mini 2grams brushles and some Brushless ESCs to test if having a miniquad with such brushless is worth.
A wireless minicamera 2.4 Ghz or 5.8Ghz that could be fed from the same cell would be simply awesome, and a sure competitor of the AR Drone from parrot

Le mode 1 étant en rupture, achetez le mode 2, la modif est très simple (ouvrir l'émetteur et changer la languette de crantage du manche la vis de blocage du ressort). En vol : fabuleux
