just wanting to know if anybody can confirm that this speed controller does have reverse as a function, and does not need the wires physically swiched on a seperate channel to change the direction of the motor, i know it says it has a reverse function in the notes but there are people saying the reverse does not work in the 50 Amp Version. i am wanting to use this in a scale tug boat
Has anyone translated the manual from "english" to english? There's no way I'll understand the part on throttle range calibration, and I've never calibrated a boat ESC before.

ordered one of these to try in my custom fiberglass rc surfers. Suits my application perfect.
The esc is surprisingly built really well. The esc IS ACTUALLY WATERPROOF from the get go with nice big watercooler and sealed ends.
I am running 4s ,1800kv hobbyking 3665 and 37mm prop and the esc is coming back cool every time.

Excellent and solid build quality. The ESC works fine and makes sure you do not overload your battery. The throttle curve is smooth and it provides plenty of power. From what I can tell, it is water tight, but I'll still liquid-tape all wires just to be double safe. After a long run at various speeds it is just a little warm, not hot. It use it in a converted HBX Wildseeker with this motor: 3900-2848SL 2848SL 3900kv Brushless Inrunner (WaterCooled). Downsides: It smells a bit toxic, and the manual is written in horrible "english". Still very recommended!
