The Deamon 2000 is one of a devilishly good range of exclusive Hobbyking Performance gliders that offer you quality, looks and speed at a saintly good price.

The Deamon has a nicely finished composite fuselage and expertly built and covered balsa wings and tailplane. As you would expect, the wing is removable for easy transportation & fast field assembly, also the Deamon uses a V-tail configuration for excellent speed and handling. There is a comprehensive hardware kit supplied and for the final touch, the canopy is carbon fiber.

There is no doubt, the Deamon 2000 has been designed for performance, with the right set up, this model offers excellent speed and the airframe offers superb handling, this is a nice quality ARF model that any RC Pilot would be proud to own, performance was never so affordable!

Other very similar models around are running 11x6 props on around the 1200kv mark, 3S. I'll probably be going with this setup. www.link

You can always add a nose cone with some lead in it and slope it. Used to convert old glow models to PSS this way, this will convert with little effort.

To compensate for the battery and motor weight I'd have to make the nose cone out of lead..*-p

If you use the recommended 1600 to 1800 mAh battery instead of a lower capacity 2S LiPo flight battery Ubec you will need less lead in the nose cone but a higher AUW (All Up Weight). In both cases obviously move all gear (particularly the battery) as far forward as possible if you want lightest end result. David

I have just been shown this glider, and it is much improved on the original one I bought. The tray in the nose is gone, so more room for the battery. The wing bolts are better, and the wing surfaces are now film hinged, no stupid taped surfaces. Elevator horn set up now does away with the previous pushrod/horn configuration that caused binding. All in all now an even better glider, and thanks for the improvements HK, you guys just rock.

This is a fantastic glider, which I have flown for 2 years now. Unfortunately not available from HK at the time of purchase. Easy to launch, thermals like a bigger glider and lands like dream. An 1800 3s is plenty and fits well. You will have trouble fitting two elevator servos in the fuse, the mallet the better. Drill new holes in the elevator horns to line them up better. I have now hinged the elevator with cyno hinges as the taped ones give up eventually. All round good glider, and fits in my suv with dismantling. Yeee haa.
