Impossible de programmer l'ESC avec "Turnigy BESC programming card". Ma carte fonctionne sur les Turnigy PLUSH, mais pas sur le AE-80A ! Avez vous une solution ? Unable to program the ESC with "Turnigy BESC programming card". My card works on Turnigy PLUSH, but not on the AE-80A! Do you have a solution?

Hi The specs say linear BEC but the picture shows the esc with "SBEC" printed on it, which usually means switching BEC. Anyone know which is right? Thanks
 Tryin2fly 267 points
Mmm- I might be wrong (like always) but I thought SBEC- means Linear, and UBEC- means switching?I think the S should stand for switching and U would be Linear better yet they should use a L for linear anyone KNOW for SURE and let us know Thanks

Hi, do I have to program this ESC befor i use it with lipo batts?
 theflyiniowan 27 points
Tim, most (brushless) esc's. come as a default to automatically detect and count the number of lipo cells as a default. When u plug your battery into your esc listen to the first number of tones that the esc gives, if you plug in a 3 cell it should beep three times then give a tone letting you know that it is armed. this process is the same for 2 to 6s lipos, i dont think this esc is rated for more but in my own experience i have never had to manually change a brushless esc for the cell chemistry and cell count, but on most u manually can go in and program them for that specific setting but as stated before it should automatically do that for use unless u change it otherwise.

Hi all .. how do we connect this? It has 3 blue wires and the motor (PRODUCT ID: TY500H-1700) red blue black.. As you see I'm new into electric rc :) Are there anywhere electric plans for heli setups ?
 theflyiniowan 27 points
typically on most brushless esc's and motors the center wire on both the motor and esc is the neultral wire just hook up both the middle wires on both your esc and motor and then it s just a matter of switching the other two wires around to suit your motorsrotational direction, if its not rotating the way you want it to then switch the two wires around or reverse it by using the programing function on your esc.

Which one would be the programming card for this ESC?
 bobmic 8 points
The on,y option I have is to use the Tx and listen to the music. I have the white Turnigy program card and a second card but neither can write back to the ESC. Was in contact with HK and they also didn't know. These cards can easily program the Plush esc's but not this one. It also has more trimming setups than other ESC's

I'm pretty sure you can use this program box with this ESC. Another website sells the same ESC under a different brand name and they have a program box that works with their ESC that appears to be identical to this one. PRODUCT ID: T-PRO-BOX

The build quality is great and the plastic housing is a step above all the smaller/cheaper escs. As far as performance works a treat, drawing an average 45amps for 15min and its cold to touch

Bestens.
