Hobbyking X666 Glass Fiber Quadcopter Frame 666mm

Hobbyking X666 Glass Fiber Quadcopter Frame 666mm
Hobbyking X666 Glass Fiber Quadcopter Frame 666mm

The Hobbyking X666 quadcopter frame is a high quality glass fiber frame that offers both great looks and performance. Built from light weight yet extremely rigid glass fiber and aluminum, the X666 offers a great combination of weight savings and strength.

The X666's aggressive styling makes it look just as sinister as its name, while still offering excellent functionality and performance!

This frame is based on the popular X525 V3 design, but features extended arm lengths of 666mm. This is a Hobbyking exclusive which means you will not find it anywhere else!

The X666 features a very nicely finished glass fiber main frame, shock-absorbing landing legs and folding aluminum arms. It also includes 3 silver arms and 2 black (5pcs total) so you can change them based on flying in + or X configuration for orientation. The shock-absorbing landing legs are a great feature to handle those rough landings that we all have from time to time.

We also offer a full line of multi-rotor electronics such as multi-rotor control board, ESC, motors and more, so it has never been easier or more affordable to get a quad in the air!

All necessary hardware is included.

The Hobbyking X series also feature thicker GF main plates for added stength.

Hey buddy, This is a big frame, i run a 3000mah pack and get a little over 10 minutes of lazy flying. I'm also running 900kv 2830 motors and 12*4.5 props. With my setup it rockets skyward hard. I think it could carry 5000mah if i had them. 1300pack is too small IMO and is also going to have trouble pumping the amps for 4x 28mm motors

So I bought a turnigy nano-tech 1300mAh 3S 45~90C Lipo Pack, just know if i have to buy a 2200-3000mah lipo. And can I exchange it?

Save the pack for testing and setup, you'll be surprised how often you use it, or buy the battery operated hot glue gun they sell here. Would be perfect.

Hello Guys, I have a question. Can we mount Gimbal on this frame? or Landing Gear to mount the Gimbal?

I just receive this frame yesterday, well build, no instructions, i use the instructions of the 525 frame it looks the same. the screws are good, but only have 4 nylon screws to mount the Control Board, if you have to mount the Hobby King Quadcopter Power Distribution Board its is a little dificult because of the space. I put one above the other lets see if there is no vibration. This frame have 2 arms paint black to indicate the front but this color is not very good for, i will paint in orange later and put a green propeller for better orientation.

Just got this frame in yesterday, very nice frame for the price. All the materials are of good quality, all holes line up correctly, and the hardware is very nice. I had no issues with assembly. This thing is huge!! I had a v1 talon and the x666 is a monster compared. I was going to try to fab my own quad, but with the x666 being only $24 why bother ;)

Very nice frame. Easy assembly, Used the HK i86, Turnigy 28-30-750kv, HK blue 12A ESC, FlightMax 3s1p 2200 20C, 10x6 GWS clone props, FrSky TFR6 FASST 2.4ghz. Had to extend the ESC power wires. Board/ESC setup took a bit of reading but not too difficult. Still tuning the board but it flies fine. about 6 minutes per battery in windy conditions.
