This tiny Mig 15 is amazing, EPO foam combined with its featherweight stats means it will be very forgiving of the odd less than 100% landing. The 35mm Fan Unit & ESC are pre-installed as are the aileron and elevator servos, the model comes in 1 piece so all you have to do when it arrives is connect the control rods, hook up the RC equipment to a Reciever that uses Micro Molex 3 Pin conectors, such as the HobbyKing OrnageRX 4 Channel Micro reciever and you are ready to go...... where were we? Ah yes, Dogfighting with the new Micro F-86 Sabre in the local park, basketball court, in fact pretty well anywhere, these models are an absolute hoot when flown with friends!
The box the model arrives in is really handy for not only transporting the model to prevent hanger rash but the spare pockets in the packing foam are ideal for carrying spare Lipolys and you will have so much fun with this, I would carry a few! This Mig is so cute, even your Wife will like it!

Hey guys I've had one of these for a while and she flies very well after some sorting out initially. Try a 350mah 3s pack in the 30c range and you should be flying along just fine. 2s is alright be very marginal and only fine for scale maneuvers on calm days at full throttle. Trim up a bit initially. Hope that helps.
Ok manipulating tail into place, getting there, losening up control surfaces, have taken out some foam up front and batt is in now, seems to balence ok at suggest cog, no room to move though believe these fly a bit tail heavy. Not sure how people get a 3S in, bit more to do yet
Well, today was almost the day. Unfortunately the bec on the speedy has gone, getting no power to my rx, no orange led, same with working AR6115e that I checked against. I do not have a spare little esc so will have to order. Have the fan out of the plane now as esc is soldered in, would have tried a 12amp I have but space is of a premium in the little mig.
Tail and control surfaces all good
I know, work in progress this one. Soldered molex connector to 12 amp esc to test R415 and it is fine, so probably use this one. Was never happy with position of electronics so chance now to reposition esc and rx to suit, and know new esc can handle 3S batt too
Well I'm ready to go, raining outside. AUW now a hefty 109g with 2S. Did some tests, on 2S drew 5amps giving 38 watts but on 3S 8 amps giving 76 watts. Haven't squeezed in a 3S yet but will have to go there.....
Could not trim out this plane, split elevators rolled the plane, frustrated, crashed a couple of times, kept trying, with little response, poor control, am giving up, flew funfighter instead, awesome. Have many other larger planes which fly well, will not bother further with this micro jet
Thanks for letting us know brendan1, was looking at this as my next buy www.link Just out of curiosity, do you think the poor flight performance might be due to the warped tail feathers that you had to fix up or was it something else to do with the split elevators?
I have a parkzone micro corsair, twice the price that flew perfectly out of the box, it was straight and the flight surfaces are true. No prob, I have flown it heaps and it is still in great condition. Unfortunatly can't say the same for this one. Yes the tail was a prob for me, I guess I could give it another go, but I much prefer to fly other larger planes, good luck
Thanks brendan1, I had a similar problem with my rarebear 400mm, it still requires a bit of work to get flying well. Unlike my UM T-28 by parkzone the rarebear doesnt fly politely out of the box.
Im thinking of waiting for the parkzone UM Mig 15, just saw this as a stop gap measure.
