The Sbach 342 has to be one of, if not THE most popular aerobatic model around, this nicely priced version is perfect for those pilots wanting to build a sport fly Sbach without upsetting the wife and bank manager!

Size wise, this model is perfect for the club flyer, big enough to have some presense but small enough to be easily transported and cheap to build. The airframe is well made and the covering well applied, the supplied hardware is susprisingly good given the price and the model is really practical with plug in wings and a large canopy secured by very strong magnets.

can this plane be powered with a glow motor?
 Derek 5 points
Probably best not to. The front end is well fretted out and the vibration from a glow motor would shorten its life considerably.

Anybody know the dimension of the motor box? Will an e-flite 60 motor fit?
 Chris 1 points
E-flite 60 will fit. It may be a bit much for this size plane, however.

Plane seems very well built. It is alittle tail heavy though. I put a Turnigy EasyMatch G32 770kv in it and am running it on 4s. They recommend a 4s3300mAh~4000mAh. I ended up putting two 4s3000mah batteries in it as far foward as I could get them to balance the plane right. I also put four Turnigy MG14 metal gear servos in it. They fit prefectly. Had 3 flights yesturday on it and it flies very good. I'm sure there's better setups then mine. But I'm happy with how it flew. It will do most 3D tricks in the right hands.
