In the brushed motor, the required switching of magnetic field is done by the rotating commutator. The brushes feed the current to this. The rotating, mechanical arrangement generates switching noise, sparks and dust. It's also accountable for a fair amount of friction. Due to this inherent switching, the brushed motor will run if you apply a simple (2 wire) battery voltage to it. The ESC simply limits the Applied power. In contrast, the brushless motor relies on the ESC to switch the current to generate the shifting magnetic field, and it needs no mechanical switching. Hence it's much more efficient, noise- and maintenance free. But it requires a dedicated brushless (3-wire) ESC.
What do you mean? The whole shaft is one piece on these, the opposite side (side of moter furthest away) is the cap.. You can see the E-clip on the side facing you, pull the clip it slides out... then the cap on the other side if you really want to litterally replace the shaft will have a machine screw? Is that what you ment?
Show, usando 3S 1300.

I've used this motor on 2 quads that I built. The only thing is the shafts are bent easily. A prop saver would be the best bet. I have been using 2 of them a couple of scratch built planes that I built. They weigh 510grams with battery and I'm using a 9x47 and a10x50 prop on them both. No over heating and I have driven them straight into the ground several times with no problems what so ever. They are pretty fast with a 3s lipo in these planes. Well worth the $10.

Vollgas (gemessen) 96A bei 8 Motoren (also 12A pro Motor).
