Would these be beneficial on a multirotor running FPV?
 Heppy Ket 554 points
They can be but it is not conclusive, it depends on the type and amount of noise, take a look at RCModelReviews on Youtube, he's just done a video on the subject, most useful.

Thanks for that. I will take a peek.

You can take a look at an LC filter sold here on HK as that will help reduce noise in your FPV setup. Depending on what model filter you get, it may interfere with your OSD so you may want to get one that HK does not offer here yet. that way you can bridge the connection and change it to work for your OSD. "It is now possible to select between common mode and differential mode filtering. A solder jumper pad on the input side disables filtering on the negative/ground-lead. If you experience issue with OSD systems, try changing the filter to differential mode." I am researching the same thing now!

Which size is best as these come in two sizes?
 craigwmiller 42 points
I purchased these exact ones, and find that a servo connector (even a full futaba-J plug) fits easily through the hold, even after a bunch of wraps!

Thanks... Did you notice any difference?

I did definitely on a helicopter (450 size) a while back and now use them on everything just in case!

Do these rings assist to stop servo jitter noises if I put them on the servo leads?
 waterlogged 3764 points
They certainly do. They are quite common these days on all sorts of electronics. It's not a written guarantee that it will stop all noise but UBECS, ESCs etc throw out heaps of rubbish and ferrite is great at decreasing it. There are other reasons for servo jitter. pushrod binding, full throw of the servo, antenna too close to the ESC or UBEC and so on. Try decreasing servo throw by 10% and see what happens. It cured a few of mine. Good luck.

Yes, it can! This is the principal think it do! For me, with this ferrite,no noise now
 Podolsk 69 points
Yes maybe, 3-5 turns in the ring for interior servo.

reduces RF noise, a must in gas crafts, put it on the lead from ignition box to receiver ( kill switch)
