Hobby King, can you check the shipping weight of this one? Why 100g of packaging when other servos use less than 30 or 40? Don't mind for one but when ordering 6 or eight x 100g, not nice. Anyone have a weight out there from HK?
Yes, it will work on a .50 nitro Heli. The torque as well as the speed of this servo fullfills all requirements the .50 may have. Regarding the speed, it will also be able to handle the tailrotor.

I use this servo for tail rotor (Raptor 50)....and is a rock.For cyclic Power HD 8309TG work great.

I have installed this servo for steering on my 1/10 racing car and i was really amazed by the speed and responsiveness of this servo. You can't beat the price and quality. One thing is that it's a bit noisy but who cares anyways...

well what can i say. i have been looking fo a new tail servo on my 600 esp. i fitted an Align DS620 and flew the heli. I then installed this power hd servo and there was absolutly no difference in the performance. perfect and rock solid tail lock with my align gp750 gyro. $19.00 bucks and one of the best servos i have evre used. check out the test video on youtube my account: roger40000

Un excellent servo tres rapide et tres fiable, il respire la qualite car il est tres silencieux et precis. J'en ai acheté 3 et je suis totalement satisfait par cet achat. Ils sont destiné à un helico de taille 600 mais sans vol brutal.

Good servo and has good resolution. Comes in a nice metal box. It's so fast on my 1/10 drift car that it can follow the bounce of my transmitter steering wheel at neutral when I let it go from max. It's noisy even when the servo is a little bit off from neutral. Sometimes it's unable to pull itself back to neutral if just a tiny bit off. It's either the servo or my car's steering linkage.
Been doing well so far with no other problems. Hopefully it lasts. Get this one it's a really good deal and cheap to replace!
