If you are able to cut the slots needed into the arms then yes, but then again just buy the 380mm extended booms for the tricopter. it will also work out cheaper as you only need to buy one pack (PRODUCT ID: 9171000110)
I also believe that the Talon Hex v1 uses the same diameter arms as the Talon Quad V2.
I believe that these would fit the Talon Hex v1 perfectly to give you a larger motor to motor 'wheelbase'.
These are the booms that fit the Talon Hexa V1. Note you don't need to go to large booms to spin a 11x5 prop, on the standard booms you can spin a 12inch prop without an issue. The extra boom length allows a 14inch prop (actually its will fit a 15inch but only has a 5mm gap).
Fantastic HK ! Now I can order the Talon V2 in parts WITHOUT the V2 motormounts (I use others for the DT750 motors) WITH long 320mm booms to make a large size quad, extra bottom plate that I use on top for a 3S 2650mah nanotech lipo and .. WITHOUT the extra 18gr carton box. Great, thanks.
Arxangel, I have the Talon V1 and must say that the standard 243mm AND the 498mm booms of that frame (also 12mm) are VERY rigid ! The three motor wires fit through them perfectly. Imo a 20mm doesnt bring added value, besides weight.
Well, I've got clamps for 20mm, so it is cheaper to get 20mm booms rather than spend more money on new clamps. Besides, my quad is over 70cm, and I don't think these would be able to handle something weighting at over 2kg.
With these 320mm booms the Talon will be approx 70cm as well. I will let you know if it can handle 2kg as soon as they are received. I am positive it will.
Well my quad is around 2400g right now, I will bring it down to 2300g soon, but this is its AUW, and these booms will have to sustain that weight without flexing and bending and breaking for around 20 mins of flight for a long time, I just don't trust them. BUT test them and share the results, it should be interesting. :)
I just wanted to clarify, these booms are actually 14mm OD and 12mm ID, not 12mm as burghoorn said. The 2mm wall thickness makes them very stiff as he says.
Second that Henkster. These tubes are 14mm OD 12mm ID. I think there is confusion on this topic because the Turnigy Talon v.1 has 12mm OD 10mm ID tubes.
I have owned two of these frames. (I bought the second because I needed parts that were unavailable to fix the first one.) It is a good sport/trainer frame for flying ACRO. Forget thinking you will FPV with this! The center plate is just big enough for the FCB and the battery takes up all the space on the bottom. This frames Achilles’* heel is where the boom connects to the motor mount. The motor mount will not give way in a crash and the tube snaps within an inch of where it meets the motor mount. If the motor mount could break away from the boom under hard pressure and you're careful not to strip any of the cinch bolts this frame would last forever.
If the outer dia is 14mm, and the inner is 12mm, then the thickness is only 1mm cause the thickness one one side is 1mm, and 1mm on the other side. But you cannot add these together and make it 2mm... Its still only 1mm thick. :-)
I bought this booms to use bigger propeller than i cant use with stock 250mm booms coming with Turnigy Talon Hexacopter. The have the same diameter and the same quality. Great product for the value.

I bought 3 packs of this for my Turnigy talon hexacopter to extend the frame and use 12x3.8 and it fits perfect. Great product for the value. Recomended.
