Unfortunately no..they are very tight as it is, so 16mm will not work at all. I'm sure you could make sleeves or tape around the 12mm so they would fit, but there are already issues with the mounts spinning on the tubes from crashes etc so that isn't a route I would try on anything that needs to stay put like a motor mount. Why don't you just use the 14mm tubes that are listed on this site?
I'm looking to use some of these on a build, but I can only source 12mm or 16mm OD rods. Is there enough free play to fit either of these rod size? I know. The talon V2.0 uses 14mm OD rods for the arms.
hello, can someone tell me the exact dimensions of the motor mount block? I'm planning to build a quadcopter but first I need to create it with solidworks. Thanks
So does anyone know if I could substitute 1 plastic HAL Boom Mount for a pair of these alloy mounts. Would the drill holes line up with the HAL hexicopter. I ask this because the plastic HAL Boom mounts really dont hold the booms very well. Thansk Steve
Hello. Somebody could tell me if this part is suitable for 12mm or 14mm tubes. On the other hand which are its dimensions and weight. I would like to use them to fix tubes on a personal construction frame. Thank you in advance. Regards. Patrick.
Hello Nyana. Thank you for your fast answer, I appreciate. I am going to buy some to build my multicopters because I think that it is a nice solution to fix 14mm tube on the center plate of frame. Best wishes. Patrick.
