Could You write the hub and spinner's codes You've bought?
Me too I've a Walrus and right today I've broken the original plastic spinner.
I had installed these carbon fiber props and checked that they were loose.
When I've tried the motor, I felt a little bit more vibrations than the stock props, but looked not so important.
During flight, vibrations increased to a level that the canopy has been ejected.
I landed immediately but I didn't see THE ONLY ONE rock in the field...
I've broken the prop and the spinner (or the hub? The part where are screwed the props) and I cannot fly anymore (it's my first and only plane).
I'm looking for a new hub-spinner, but I want to be 100% sure that the new one will perfectly fit on my Walrus, most of all because I must wait 25-30 days for the delivery.
2nd question: I've also another set of these carbon fiber props (brand new) but I'm afraid that I'll have the same effect.
Could it depend from a defective prop or it has happen because I've used carbon fiber prop on plastic stock spinner?
It will fit any hub as long as the screw hole is 3mm and the root mount is 8mm. I run a pair of these on my Walrus, with a 40 mm spinner and 42mm hub. The props are excellent, just make sure they are loose and easy when retracting
