hello, just a question witch is the polarity for the ac receiver ?? it just say 12v input is it a matter??

I have been useing this product for a couple years now. you might notice when the AV transmitter is on a vibrating aircraft you will lose picture. this is due to bad connections in the channel selector switch. to solve this I took it apart and soldered it to one specific channel. I've also made an inverted vee dipole antenna for the transmitter which allows me to do rolls and loops without losing picture.

When testing the system for the first time on my workbench I had some troubles to get it working, I was able to "see" when the TX was powered on and on the correct channel but the image was nothing more than black and white, zebra-style, pattern. After reading the discussion page for the product I was directed into a broken CCD or bad wiring on the camera plug.. which both of them were wrong conclusions; the true problem was the AC to DC transformer I was using to power the video receiver, it was a cheap one from CN with multiple output voltages.. *do not use* such thing ! I replaced it with a proper regulated transformer and everything worked flawlessly. CCD's PCB solderwork is awful with some components barely making contact with the traces and TX's case/heatsink is way too big.. but in the end good bang for the buck, highly recommended and a base kit to start at FPV.
