Perfect for winter flying! The excellent Turnigy Transmitter Muff is windproof and synthetic fur lined, it features a clear plastic window so you can see the screen of your computer radio and hook and loop adjustable wrist and transmitter pockets. The Muff also features a cage to stop the muff interfering with your transmitter switches...nicely thought out...nicely made....perfect for die hard pilots!
Looks a little small from the photo. You don't want a TX mitt that fits so tight that it can flip switches when you're inserting a hand in it. Plus, one of my transmitters is a Multiplex Evo, which is a tray-type TX (meaning that it's less deep than the average TX, but bigger in length and width.) Sometimes the Chinese cut things too close to save pennies on an item.
I should add that this is an improvement on the previous radio mitt, which didn't have the insulation that this does, and had slits in the sides instead of sleeves. The Velcro should be find for adjusting the size of the sleeve openings, and besides, if you are using this, you likely have a coat on, which has its own sleeves which fit inside these, so it looks good. It would be perfect if the window was a little larger, like the first Turnigy mitt that had a huge window, but it isn't bad at all. Thanks HK.
I fly mode 2 and launch left handed, so my right hand is controlling the glider at all times. I usually launch and let the glider gain some altitude before inserting my left hand in the TX mitt, so if I ***p the controls, the glider won't crash. It works for me.
They should have added elastic Bands on the Ends where you insert your Hands to make it better to keep the Cold out of it if you have thinner/smaller Arms/Hands
Well i seen that, but elastic Muffs/Bands be better. Just think about it: If you insert the 2nd Hand, how are you gonna fasten the Hook-N-Loops???? Some People go out to fly by themselfes and dont have the choice of taking a 2nd Person with them out in the cold to fasten t he Hook-N-Loops for them
I have been using mine in below freezing temperatures. I do not want elastic cuffs on this as I find I want to get my hands in, or out, very quickly sometimes such as for launch or to push my glasses up on my nose. So far they are nice and warm.
this glove is awsome i love it. its warm you can still see the transmitter and its easy to get the transmitter out and in of the glove. i would reckemend buying one. i live in nz and the weather gets cold down her in the winter and iv never had a day that this glove cant keep my hands warm
Anything that keeps the wind from your hands is great. I made a Tx cover 20 years ago from a double toaster cover. No window needed, you should be able to trim without looking www.link This looks much better.
This is a better choice then the other cover for a Tx with no insulation sold here.It has enough room for a Tx and also a heater thats sold here, but you might not need the heater because this muff is insulated and has sleeves to cover over your jackets sleeves.People are saying it might be hard to fit a Turnigy 9x but they are wrong .I only have turnigy 9x radios and they fit fine without touching the switches. This muff also has a bracket built in that the other did not to hold the muff away from the Tx.You might have a tight fit if you have a bracket on your radio but other that that its perfect.Oh ya I also have a 5" monitor on my 9x for FPV and it still fits great.I will upload photos to the files tab.

I have a Futaba T10CP Tx with the plug-in module on the back and this muff accommodates it fine. There is no fear of accidentally hitting switches because the muff is large enough. Very easy to insert the Tx due to the velcro flaps at the top, and it keeps the hands toasty and protected from the wind. The cuffs are generous which lets you wear your favourite thick coat as well!! The clear window lets you see the Tx screen OK. All in all a great product for those who fly in the cold!!
merveilleuse merveille. les doigts gelé c'est terminé. couture solide, materiel robuste, doublure chaude. Un chassis en metal pour conserver une certaine rigidité bref la mitaine est extremmement bien conçu. merci Hobbyking
