reading the write up it says stand only does not include the arms why is this? and where are they so I can order them also

RichardB, you make a mistake. What is ment is, that the hight en length of the stand is without arms, or "stand only", because that are fixed measurements. The arms can be placed in differend positions, so that can vary. HobbyKing however could be a little more clear and specific in the text, because you might indead get the wrong impression.

Best if you ask HobbyKing that, I don't know! All I do know is that when I put 1 medium size stand in my cart, then changed the order to 3 stands, the shipping cost remained the same. Just weighed my medium size stand, it's 920gms. HTH.

I told them and they said they will correct that.. they still haven't and if you buy they will ask for more money to ship it..

hope so my friend.. but they block accounts just to get their 5 bucks of shippign while it's their mistake and sometimes and inthis case I already told them 18 hours ago

Yes Bring to Aus warehouse. Shipping wight makes it expensive. What about stackable foam plane stands/Storage.

Yeah, I just bought one and the shipping is more than the stand. I think it's still fairly reasonable value overall but it's the sort of thing that realy needs to be in the satelite warehouses, then it would be great value.

I ordered one to replace the medium size one that was on back order, bloody $31.77 shipping. Hope this helps, I have 7 children who eat balsa dust for dinner.

Well there's your problem right there snappy. Wasting perfectly good balsa dust on those kids when you could be burning it to heat your home which would save on your heating costs freeing up a bit more cash to cover that shipping. HTH

I've been using this for about a week now and it's perfect for the job. The rods are a snug enough fit in the holes in the timber that you don't realy need to glue them so you can keep it more portable if you want too. It is surprisingly well made.

NOW I Like- got work in building this,looks great, the rods just push in with a bit of Man press, I will be get the other sizes. simple and easy to use.

This is another of the best hobby king deals I have stumbled across, the large stand is perfect for 50cc and bigger, the quality for price has also impressed me.beyond belief, I also bought the medium one and quality is the same and suitable for the normal club glow size 40 / 60 / 90 Cheers

These stands really fill a need. No more cumbersome styrene boxes for me. Fits my big Texan (50cc) no problems. You don't need to glue in the rods so it is colapsable. Now I am going to make some legs for it so I don't have the get down on my knees all the time. 5 stars from me!
