Turnigy TrackStar 100A 1/10th Scale Sensored Brushless Car ESC
Hello.
I have two questions:
1- I can use this motor with Lipo 3S?
2- I can use this motor with a Esc Velinon (VXL-3s Continuous current: 200A)?
If possible I wait aswers.
Thanks
Regard

Hello.
If you need a best performance for this motor you need use a Esc with 80A our min. 60A. Note in specifications this motor use a Max Current of 67A.
It is only rated for 2S, yes you can run 3S with it, but you need to be careful and pay attention to your temps. And remember that 3S will void your warranty.

As long as your ESC can handle 3s, it would only be testing the RPM capabilities of the magnet in the motor. I'd do it, it would be crazy fast. Ive run 7700kv motors on 3s and havent had any problems. Doing it too much though can crack and shatter the magnet.

I received this motor today and installed it the over all structure of the motor is fantastic and at a great price, the only thing that i was not really impressed with was the top end speed the motor has, on a 7.4 system the box rates it to run at 44955 rpm's and it actually runs around 37550 rpm's the bottom end torque is awesome so for a very short course race with lots of turns it would be awesome and incase anyone wondered i am running a turnigy trackstar 100a esc and zippy 2s 4000mah 30c batteries
