I have recently purchased your Quattro charger: Product ID: HK-Quattro. Can this charger also charge this Lipo? If I'm not mistaken there is a cap of 5000ma on the Quattro.

Your charger is to smale. Produkt ID: 9052000009 Turnigy 4x6S 400W Lithium Polymer Battery Charger would be the right one to charge 4 of this batterys. 6.4 A * 12.6 V = 80.64 Watt per chanel is needet to charge them.
YES, this battery kick'z ass, nobody can beat it, i just wish HobbyKing would get the postage cost down, first of all the cost is extremely high and the time for delivery is extremely long, at the least get the postage cost DOWN, please figure something out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the plug is not compatible, but you can change it on the savage flux, or buy an adapter.
you must too check that this Lipo is not too big to enter in the boxes in the savage, with the lenght, the height and the width.
This battery will work great in savage. I run same set up as the flux(MMM)and love it on 3s. 4s is just to much I feel for racing. If you already run a 4s then it should fit no problem.
i have a traxxas stampede with Mamba Max Pro SCT speed controller and 3800 brushless Castle motor but have stock gearing. also as all rpm and cvds as well. will i be able to safely run this without over heating the motor or esc? would i be able to run a 4S safely if so which 4S would be best?
This should work with the expansion kit. The dimension are the same as the Traxxas Lipo 2857. This Lipo is 3S and i think the Mamba Max Pro SCT is designd for up to 6S with 25.2V.
Yes, all Turnigy with the TRA nummber and the TRX-Plug comment in the product description will work with the Traxxas model's. Ther is no need to change the plug. I have a lot of them in use.
Yes it will, but you will not be able to use the stock battery strap, battery too tall. Traxxas does make a extended strap that will accomodate it though thats what I'm using in my slash it only costs a few bucks
JUST wondering with this being very high discharge, would i need a high amp esc like 100amp or so, or is it up to the motor what ever its rated for. for a (EDF) thanks
The motor "pulls" the current. That means, for example in a certain boat, if you have a certain motor with a certain prop, it will pull a certain current. The ESC should be rated high enough for this current (leave some buffer). The Lipo then should be capable of delivering this current. So if you use this Lipo with a small motor and an ESC big enough for the motor, it will work.
SO this means if i have a motor that pulls a hole lote of current it will pull as much as it needs ,but the ESC has to be capable to handle the largest amount that the motor will pull? there is no chance of blowing the motor or the ESC then?
Yes and no. Everything is correct, except for the last phrase. If the boat or car is too big and heavy, the prop or wheels too large, then the motor will overheat resulting in failure, and often the ESC will die the same time. Use the following approach: 1st choose a motor, 2nd estimate how much Amps the motor will draw in your car/boat (a lot of experience comes in here), 3rd choose ESC and Lipos that are rated at least a bit above these Amps.

Very powerfull batteries, used them in my Traxxas Spartan Speedboat 6S and it flies over the water! No complains, I will buy another one, while I flipped my boat several times and lost 1 Battery! Also works well in combination with 2S Nano-tech batteries of similar capacity (5S).

Wow, I put two of these into my Traxxas Spartan and its CRAZY FAST!. One thing to note is that I put Velcro on the battery tray and battery to keep these things in the boat when it crashes. One word to describe these batteries is INSANE!!!!!!!

I bought 4 batteries for my boat traxxas spartan.With these batteries the boat speeds up instantly. long hold a charge. After water got to the boat batteries got wet but after drying all the same earned. Very good batteries for this price whith traxxas connector. There is no need to solder as in others.
