The Do 335 Pfiel (Arrow) was one of many brilliant German designs that simply came too late in WW2 to make an impact, it was fast enough to be capable of outrunning RAF Tempests in the only recorded engagement of the war by allied fighters, the factory was over-run by US forces in 1945 by which time a mere handfull had been completed.
This brilliantly different and fun model is made from tough EPO foam and features a heavily braced wing, being plug and fly, the twin brushless outrunner motors in a push/pull arrangement, ESCs and servos are all pre-installed, assembly is fast and simple and the wing is removable for easy transportation.
The flight performance of the Do335 is just brilliant, it is suprisingly fast and aerobatic, the noise from the twin motors just adds to the effect. The nosewheel is steerable and the Pfiel has full four channel control, this is a geat performing model of one of WW2s most fascinating piston engined aircraft, its as cheap as chips and flies brilliantly, a must for Parkflier Warbird fans!
