i am new at this so will this work and program with the turnigy 9x radio and or do i need a programming card to get the radio to pick it up? i am buying the 9x v2 with 2 extra receivers for gas motors but i want to build a brushless electric motor and need a way to control it and it says 2600KV motor,14.8v 4 cell 1600-2200 20c motor and (60amp ESC)

Hello David, I use this 60 amp plush in my HK 500 Heli, and the 4o amp Plush in my HK 450, both bound to my Turnigy 9x. They work very well. I did end up with the programing card and for less than $10.00 it is really really worth it,. My 2 cents worth. Kris

I'm thinking of using this esc with a Turnigy EZ Match G-46, 420 kv, 15-8 prop and a 5s lipo. Airplane has three standard servos and flying weight will be under 5 pounds. Am I on the right track?

I regularly pull 78A through this ESC during short bursts on one of my speed planes. Have had no problems yet and the esc just gets warm not hot but I do have it out in open air so cooling is good. Your motor prop setup should be pulling around 55A max. So as long as you are not flying full throttle all the time you should be fine. Cheers!

Hello Karp050555 all is OK, however the speed is quiet low, only around 75 km/h at full power. you better use a higher pitch for your propeller if your plane is a normal one (not a slow one) like a 15 x 10 or 15 x 12. Enjoy flying

There are escs that will run two brushless motors on one esc. Go to YouTube and search for 2 motors on 1 esc using a T180 esc. The worst case is you use motors too amp hungry for one esc or one motor may start in opposite direction.
 Christ 907 points
Hello Zeeek1 for sure if you happy with this unsure type of working, then it is OK. anyway the best solution is still to have 1 ESC per motor (or some special ones for QUAD - but this is 4 ESC on one block in a shape designed for Quad) there is almost no price benefit, no weight benefit and less security as if the ESC fail then you have ZERO motor running. Enjoy your hobby

hi guys can I run two G810 motors with this ESC please?
 ElectricAussie 4364 points
Hi pretheepan, I'm 99% certain that you can't run 2 motors at one time off this type of ESC. ESCs use a pulse counter from one of the coils in a motor to control the motor speed. Splicing 2 motors onto the same ESC would cause the pulse signals to override each other and "confuse" the ESC. As I said, I'm not 100% certain of this and would love to hear from other readers who have tried to do it. Cheers, EA!
 Christ 907 points
Hello Pretheepan absolutely never. you can not use 2 brushless motors on the same ESC. The ESC is measuring the electromagnetic feedback from the motor to find out the correct timing. you should be exactly sure that the 2 motors are synchronized exactly (thru a mecanical gear box) to have a very small chance to get it running. Better buy 2 ESC or select 2 cheaper ones if price is a concern. Enjoy flying

NEW!!! Version 3.1
Turnigy Plush 60A ESC

This is the newest version out. It is designed to run conservatively at 60A with a 80A burst rating. This ESC can definitly handle those numbers without a problem. It can be used with 2 cell to 6 cell batteries and the UBEC is rated for 5V @ 3A. The dimensions were right on spec. I threw it on the scale when I received it, measured out to 59.6g, & 80x30x14mm.

I'm running this on my 60mm EDF Jet with a Hoffman Magnetics Mighty Mite I bought here on HobbyKing. I use a FlightMax 4S 2650mAh 40C for 106A and over 1500W.
This jet is FAST! Clocked over 130mph.
Note: If you're thinking about getting a Turnigy ESC, spend the extra dollar and get the PLUSH. You will not regret it. Worth every penny. Also, you can do any programming you might need with the Turnigy BESC Programming Card. Again, like all Turnigy products, very easy to use.

Only downgraded to 4 stars due to the heat-sink being wrapped inside the heat-shrink cover.

Mated this with my HXT 35-42C 1000kV motor and 4S2P 2600mAh LiPo, for 60A / 800W power!

ESC handled all of this with ease. VERY linear throttle response.
Switching BEC is excellent and handled 4 servos in 3D flight mode without trouble. Sure beats worrying about a linear BEC or a separate BEC.

25 thumbs up!
Was surprised when I received this as what showed up had OEMRC printed on it! Nevertheless I tried it out in my Electro Telemaster (80" WS) with a TowerPro Brushless Motor 3520-7 (a great motor). I was spinning a 13 X 7 APC E prop and 5S1P A123 Pack pushing 16.5V @ 2300Mah. What a tremendous setup! I can fly for about 25 mins with throttle management (the Tele is a floater) and I have power to go vertical if I want, all for a great price. Smooth throttle curve, easy programming and doesn't freak out on a123 cells..what else can I say?

This ESC is AWESOME!!! Running on the front of a Hyperion Super Chipmunk 70E (3200g) with a Turnigy 50-55B, 14x7 E prop, and HXT D9 G2 4100mAh 5S. Lift off in about 30 feet, and will climb for DAYS...

Can fly scale with tons of power to spare. The guys all freaked out when I had my "vintage" plane hovering at half throttle then pulling out into the heavens!

Also running on smaller, lighter Extra 330s (1500g) with a power 25 and 4s battery overpropped, but everything still comes down cool.

Plush ESC's are the way to go!
