How do I set the low voltage cutoff completely off? Where can i read how to program the ESC?
 jzzto 316 points
You have a printed manual shipped with it (in the same envelope there is a sheet with all the data), also, you can find the manual under "files" tab. You can know the ESC configuration when you plug the battery in, it will beep as armed and then it will beep the configuration

You need to buy a esc programming card this way is much easier and quicker. Here is the link www.link

Are the bullet connectors already on
 Eugen 15 points
No they are not they have to be soldered on

no, you have to buy them separately, also there are no battery connectors as well... remember to add some shrink tube for covering the soldering on the bullet and on the battery connector

If I'm drawing 20amps will this esc be fine?
 cpstrommen 29 points
Yes, I use a 20 amp motor and it is fine
 jzzto 316 points
yes, it will be fine, but if it will be a constant draw, and probably have higher peak consumption you should go for 30A instead for safety reasons.

Hi, can anybody contact me via mail to antiseptikum[at]gmail**** if you have a spare OLD Turnigy Plush 25A that still has an ATMega processor? I really need one (as I have 3 with ATMega and want to build a quadcopter and flash SimonK) but the new oines have the SiLabs processors (I think they changed it early 2012). Thank you!

can i use this esc for 22 pole motor which needs 22-31 amps.
 FoamEater 156 points
ESC will do fine. ESC run hotter towards their maximum ratings. Benefits of a higher rated esc is that it will run cooler, hadle the lower workload with ease and be more reliable in the long run.
 FoamEater 156 points
Hi Ram not all of my response was posted above. Anyway what I wrote was if you NEED 22-31 amps, assuming that you are running above 25amps for more than a few seconds then I strongly advise getting a 35amp esc for added safety. However if you are running peak currents up to 31 amps for only a few seconds during a flight then returning to 25amps or below, then this ESC will do fine.
 jzzto 316 points
i would not use this ESC for a consumption more than 20A constant, you must always have a gap to prevent any problem, if the motor gets a peak of 35 it will fry it and the rest of the plane with it in the crash, if you have 31A max, then go for a 30A or 40, there are some dollars in difference, but if you crash it, it will cost you more, i always keep 10% marging, if the motor consumes 20 as max, go for a 25 stable, the same with the battery, if you have a 30A esc get a battery which provides you more than 35A of continuous discharge

27 thumbs up!
I hooked my 25A Plush up to a 3s 2200mAh Zippy & Turnigy C2830 brushless outrunner and the ESC doesn't beep, doesn't start the motor, nothing. I can move the servos that are connected to the Rx, but I can't get any throttle response or the beeping that the manual references. Any thoughts on how to get my motor going, or why the ESC isn't beeping?

20 thumbs up!
The newer version includes another plug which will connect to the charge port of your Lipo for pack monitoring (low voltage protection). This is not shown in the photo. It is not mandatory to connect this. Unfortunately I cannot use these in my GWS 38 due to the size and extra . I will reserve this pair for other projects or replacement in existing planes. The photo should be updated, as the extra wiring causes more space limitations and should not be cut off.

I bought 2 of these to put into 2 HK450 Heli's with KD KA450H motors and Zippy 3s 2200 battery. One smoked on the first flight. The other has been performing perfectly. It was very easy to program with the programming card that Hobby City also sells. I think I just got one that was a dud.

This esc is really good. Compared to other china-made esc is really much better. Lots of very useful programmable options. Better throttle curve etc.

On the other hand it has a little problematic startup with my motor POT 200W. I tried every possible setting, but even with the one with best results i crashed due to the fact that motor went out of synchronism with esc. Czech made esc i used before were always ok.
